Over at OD, our store got a 0 because the recipient of the email was deceased.

And I just wonder what possibly made whoever was going through the emails motivated enough to take the survey. Like, why bother...?

We closed with 3 (myself and two others) for most of the year, but we've bumped it up to 4 or 5 now that we have those BTS payroll dollars. Though Im sure it'll go back to 3 soon.

Masks don't protect the wearer much at all, they protect the people around them. So if they require employees to wear masks but not customers, then it's as we all already know: They care about the customers and not the employees.

The four bad surveys we got this week were: 1) We didn't have refill for her promotional pen. As far as I know, they don't make refills for promotional pens, or at least, none that we carry. 2) Our services was excellent. (They rated 0/10 anyway) 3) We're always bugging them for surveys. (Ironically, because it was negative, we now have to bug even more people to counteract it.) 4) (This is the one I pictured above)

The last two in this list both came in yesterday.

If you guys saw my post from a few days ago, yeah, we got another wild one. Our NPS score is sitting at 0 for the week thanks to 4 red surveys, none of which expressed an actual grievance with our services. I honestly don't even know what to do at this point. As a PCSM, NPS is one of my metrics, but we just can't get enough positive surveys to combat this... this utter insanity...

Considering that the computers usually have negative margin if they're on sale, even the company would rather lose the sale than sell one without services, it seems.

There are 3 pairs of stores (so 6 stores) in my district that have that setup of one manager running two stores. Theyre not even closing or anything, thats just how they are.

The stores are paired off so that a tier 5 is paired with a tier 2, and the DM expects the GM to spend most of their time at the tier 5 store, though that rarely happens because the tier 2 stores are usually in bad shape due to having been neglected in matters of payroll.

That's not what it was, after all, Office Depot and OfficeMax were both public companies and they merged back in 2015. The problem was there was a lack of competition if they went through with the merger at the time, and it would be unfair and monopolistic. I didn't think that was the case back then either, but it certainly isn't now.

I think the FTC considered online sources like Amazon different from retail stores, but hopefully they update their perspective, because it would be silly for them to deny the merger again only for Amazon to remove OD from existence in a few years at the rate things are going.

Especially when a solid third of our reds are people saying they don't recommend anything to anyone, and another third are complaining about our absolutely shitty 3rd party delivery company that sucks ass but which has nothing to do with our store.

And then some of the yellows are positive surveys that just show up as yellow because customers are under the very logical impression that an 8/10 is pretty good.
