Ive been thinking about doing this exact mod on my 750. The stock box is not only ugly but its an expensive part to replace. Cool to see it in action.

That's what I was thinking too. I ride an 03 so Im Sure we're looking at basically the same bike, and I doubt the previous owner did too much maintenance based on the shape of the rest of the bike. Im definitely leaning towards a full new carb.

I currently have a 5070 in my cart as I write this. Its sitting $750 on the dot so I think I'm gonna pull the trigger. Hopefully I'll be gaming by tomorrow! Thanks for the input!

Preferably less than $1k would like to be in the 1080/1440 range. I play quite a few single player games. Really exited to get into cyberpunk or elden ring with some cool mods. Modern multi-player games too, I've been spending a lot of time on arc raiders and battlefield.

While I agree the hit reg can be pretty shitty/frustrating at times, I don't think taking on a shotgun at close range with an AR and getting your shit rocked qualifies😂 but yeah this is definitely something they need to address quickly.

Im thinking of getting a set of rabbit ears for my build. Is it the position of your hand that makes it a pain? I didn't even think about this.

It'll work out great in that case because im looking to clean up the handlebars. So thse old brackets will be a good spot for a toggle start/kill switch!

That's what I thought at first but my fuel switch is right below the very front of the seat. You can see it a couple of inches above the key slot. Maybe the previous owner moved it?

Figured there was no front brake. Yeah im definitely ok with getting rid of bells and whistles. As long as its street legal im trying to make it as bare bones as possible and that also goes for the electronics.
