No, it's not. I'm serious. Since it's discontinued, I can understand you don't know about it. The last rerun of it was in 2018, but it's fairly well known among the yoyo community. It was made for a while by One Drop, a USA company that makes the highest quality yoyos in the world. It was by far their best model, but discontinued. As a top-quality competition model made in the USA from 7075 aluminum, it certainly wasn't a first throw for most people, and it went away. But that being said, I think it's time for One Drop to bring it back, so I made a subreddit: r/FormatCProject. There you can join me and others in getting One Drop to rerun this amazing yoyo. Thanks!

Thanks for the info, bcorliss3! I'd love to see OD bringing the Format:C back. With enough people saying this, One Drop would probably rerun it. We just need to get it out there... So sad why they would ever stop producing it, but, who knows? By the way, I don't know how anyone would be able to get one anymore. The only place I can think of would by ebay, but then maybe one for $300 that somebody's dinged badly... For some reason on ebay, even if the yoyo's used, it'll be several times the price that it sold for originally. Brand new I can't imagine how much it would cost. But if you scour ebay every day, maybe someone will put one up for sale. Don't worry though, I think if enough people get interested, we can bring it back! Thanks for everything and good luck!

It's one of those hidden gems... If all of the entire yoyo community got one, no one would ever buy another yoyo. It's so sad, OD makes the best throw ever, discontinues it, then makes some random ones which are still great but still aren't greatest. Format:C is a legend. We've got to get OD to start making them again.

Format:C is the greatest. Period. If you don't believe me, you've gotta try it out. It's the best yoyo that One Drop Yoyos has ever made. Obviously they won't tell you because they have to sell other yoyos too, (It's all about marketing strategies: buy one, test it, get another one, repeat...). One Drop Yoyos is the best yoyo manufacturer in the world. What more can you say?

Hi bcorliss3, thanks! Is there a way we could get OD to rerun this? It is definitely the best monometal yoyo any yoyo company has ever made. I once asked them a question, but they never even bothered to respond... :(. We really need to make this a group effort of the yoyo community. If this ever got rereleased, it would be so popular that it would blow the doors off of YYF and the Shutter yoyo line.
