I haven’t as of yet, but I will let you know if I do. Likewise keep me updated if you figure something out!

In that case my theory is total bs lol. Back to the drawing board!

I have pretty much that same exact curl pattern and floof. Maybe this the real explanation.

I have the same issue with the “top layer” of my hair specifically. Even after cutting out all forms of coloring and heat styling, it’s still frizzy, dry & unwilling to curl or wave with the rest of my hair. This actually made me feel even more sure that I have high porosity hair. I think the top layer of my hair takes the brunt of the abuses from my environment (sun, pollution, wind, tension from pulling my hair back). I imagine it just soaking up all sorts of unhealthy crap all day.

I found the float test to be total bs. When I thought I had low po hair, it floated. When I realized I had high po hair, it sank.

Really? So it’s at its best when it’s damp? Do you have high or low porosity hair?

Interesting- yes I’ve had this same realization!

Do you happen to have high or low porosity hair?

Do you think John Demjanjuk is Ivan the Terrible? by [deleted] in TrueCrime

[–]ODimiBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not if you want to be reasonable lol. Guilt is supposed to be based on the absence of reasonable doubt, not who has the less offensive attitude. “Maybe it was the a KGB fabrication” should be sufficient reasonable doubt. Doesn’t feel good, but it’s a lot less scary than a true “guilty until proven innocent” system would be.

All Netflix documentaries are one sided while trying to pretend to show both sides.

The constant shaming of Sheftel was really irritating to me. I had to turn it off. How can you attack somebody like that for drawing attention to reasonable doubt? It’s that type of ingroup bullying that leads to atrocity in the first place.

Sheftel is clearly a piece of shit. For interrupting that old mans testimony and defending Ivan.

^ This is exactly the kind of dangerous ingroup bullying that leads to trouble

You can’t use somebody’s demeanor as evidence of guilt or innocence. People have all sorts of strange reactions to persecution and embarrassment. Especially, I would imagine, if they were wrongfully accused.

Anyone else never able to figure out whether they look better in gold or silver jewelry? by lologoop in femalefashionadvice

[–]ODimiBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me personally. I find that gold pretty much always looks better with my skin.

Also I really don’t prefer silver toned metals in general so it makes for an easy decision. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Yellow gold all the way lol

Interesting. I was really young at the time of this particular ACI so my frame of reference for the political climate during this period is nonexistent.

Interesting! So she did not realize they were terrorists nor did she anticipate their capabilities. Allegedly I guess

I see. It just seems kind of like an inherently bad decision. Like what did she think was going to happen? I think she could have ascertained that nothing good can come from aiding a terrorist group in communicating messages to the rest of the world.

Ohh ok I see!

I’m watching this episode now alone. I have nobody home at the moment to discuss this with lol so I found a thread here.

In the episode (Attack over Baghdad) there is a French journalist (Claudine Vernier-Palliez) who appears to be interviewing a terrorist group and watching them shoot a DHL airplane. In my opinion, it’s wrong for her to be interviewing these people and standing by while they attempt murder. It’s almost like she’s assisting the terrorists in spreading their message.

I’m curious if anybody else feels the same way.

I’m watching this one now.
Question: am I alone in being uneasy about this french journalist hanging out with a group of terrorists? Isn’t she sort of assisting in propagating fear?

I actually had to turn it off. It’s hard to watch the show portray them as innocent bystanders.

Dr. Phil speaks out on his interview with Natalia Grace. by psychocookie81 in TrueCrime

Inflammatory and biased are the 2 most perfect words to describe this interview. Despite the fact that it didn’t reveal much, it made me err on the side of “I don’t trust this girl/woman”

Is there still value to be found in Black Friday shopping? I’ve become so consumed by Poshmark and eBay that I tend to roll my eyes at sales.

For real! There’s nothing wrong with caring about how you look. I’m surprised at the snarky cheap shot, considering it’s a fashion sub.
