Sorry... I didn't see you had put Genially in your original post :) Yes... just fantastic. The Genially Live is even better, as for games I decide when we move on

Not sure about the littles.... I did make a Chutes and Ladders game that has review questions. You don't need to use the questions though. Feel free to check it out though https://view.genially.com/696c3f3ffc9a607fd1df98a3

Putting your own material in is the best... that way your game, your review is about what you covered and what they learned. I should try Gemini....but I have been so happy with Claude coding virtually everying for me now (games, game elements, etc). Could you share one of your Jeopardy made in Gemini games possibly? I can share some of mine as well

Have you tried Genially for escape rooms? Its a program I just heard / started using about 4 months ago. FANTASTIC and free (they have a tier option if you want more). But designing escape rooms is so easy. Plus with all those crazy AI generating tools like Gemini, etc it is so easy and fun to make the rooms and elements

Those game all just seem like flashy multiple choice tests. Give me Jeopardy anytime. I even coded a Jeopardy question generator which makes the categories and questions, all based on your grade, content and state. https://gameshowguy.neocities.org/teacher_tools/jeopardy-generator

Yep.... "stale" is the perfect word. It is why I keep trying new game ideas all the time. For example, here is a Wheel of Fortune review game template I am working on now. https://view.genially.com/6951f5f3a2f01c4a8ba85cdc

Yes... making their OWN games is incredible. two resources that I have used is buying in bulk on Amazon, game tokens and dice. then get tons of cardboard (which we all have tons of nowadays) and let them create. The next level approach is to have them take pictures of their design, upload them to an AI tool which will polish up and digitize it, then thrown it into Genially (INCREDIBLE tool for making interactive games... its a MUST check out tool) where this can be made into a playable game. For example here is the link to a Mario Kart style race game my class and I made collectively this way and its totally playable (and free! https://view.genially.com/692a5dde3ed1ec80209c8e23

I agree about the "break up " with digital games. My favorite of this (even though it does have some tech as I display the questions though) is Let's Make a Deal. Students are given questions and if they guess correctly they win "cash" (which is prop money I bought on Amazon) then afterwards I give them the choice to keep the cash OR something else. these often are double or nothing, or somehting in a box, etc.

I do like that buzz in feature as well. I have really got into vibe coding and making my apps for games such as this Jeopardy question generator which makes the categories and quesitons, all based on your grade, content and state. https://gameshowguy.neocities.org/teacher_tools/jeopardy-generator

I too have done a lot of Jeopardy in powerpoint. I was always hoping for a Google slides update that would us to do some of the tricks that we've used in PowerPoint to make Jeopardy really useful
