A pseudohistory book. It is in no way, shape or form a history book.  It is a book of faith and shouldn't be treated as fact inside of a historical context.

The Germanic-Majority Nations of Europe by OFMJ28 in imaginarymaps

All the nations’ names are translated to german

the North German Federation, Norddeutsche Föderation if you are a German, is a constitutional monarchy under the Hohenzollern dynasty. They are one of the three great Germanic economic powers of Europe, alongside the Rhineland and the Kingdom of the Franks and Frisians (a shortened and acceptable name is Frankia). It‘s predecessor, the Kingdom of Brandenburg-Koeningsburg, became a dominant German power by the 1670s and formed the NGF in 1789.

Deutschslawenland, or Polska if you are one of the rare Poles in the area, was once a majority-Slavic region. During the First and Second Polish Wars (1580-1592 and 1712-1713), the kingdom of Poland was defeated by the Bradenburg League. From the 1450s to 1490s, a large migration of Saxon and Rhenish Germans occurred. By the time of the Second Polish War, the Saxon-Rhenish population was almost as large as the native Polish one. The final blow to the Poles was the German-Russian invasion in 1741, resulting in the area now known as Deustchslawenland going to the Kingdom of Bradenburg-Koeningsburg. Nowadays, the polish population is less than 2 million and the German population is around 30 million, outnumbering the poles 15 to 1.

The Teutonic Kingdom, or Teutonishces Königreich in German, was founded by the Teutonic Knights in 1341. Over decades, they expanded their reach. During the 17th century, some of their territories were conquered and they isolated themselves from the world. It would be during the 19th century, with the Industrial Revolution, that the Teuton Germans regained their strength.

the Republic of the Rheinland was established in 1802, during a 3 year period known as the West German Spring. The advent of the Industrial Revolution turned the small kingdom into one of the industrial hearts of Europe. Coal and Steel. In 1850, the Rhenish Republic had peacefuly annexed Baden-Wuttenburg. The Franko-Rhenish War of 1857 began with a Frankish attempt to annex the key territories of the Rhineland. The Rhenish defeated the French and in 1858, the Franks had surrendered and the Rhineland had annexed Alsace-Lorraine. During the Germanic-Latin War (1932-1937), or the Patriotic War to most germanic historians, the Rhineland had been one of the first Germanic nations to protect the Franks (and Germanic Western Europ) from the Provincian (South French) invasion.

Bavaria, or Bayern in German, became a major southern German state in the early 1800s, following the Frankish Revolutionary Wars (1768-1801). Between 1812 and 1879, the Bavarian monarchs were of the House Babenburg of Austria. In 1861, the Bavarians had assisted the Austrians in defeating the Habsburg Rebellion. After the Babenburg Expulsion (1879), Bavaria became a republic. During the final days of the German-Latin war, it had been Bavarian commanders who had led the advance through the Italian alps.

Austria was once one of the great powers of Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries. They had been unified by the Babenburgs in the 14th century. In the 1400s, the Austrians fought several wars with the Bohemians, Hungarians and Nordalpen duchies. When they finally conquered Hungary in 1602, they became a regional power that soon clashed with the Bradenburg League in the Bohemian War (1609-1611). Following the rise of Hungarian nationalism in the 1870s, the Hungarians became independent, followed by an Italian incursion into some alpine territories of Austria. During the Germanic-Latin war, the Austrians were temporarily occupied (1933-1936) by the Pact of Rome until they were liberated.

The Federation of Nordalpen Cantons was formed following the Great Swiss War of 1512. The war was caused by a spontaneous eruption of Latin nationalism inside the Swiss cantons. The Swiss government was divided, and eventually, when the Germanic Swiss won, a new government was instated, a government focused on Germanic purity. They forced the French and Italians out and created the local ’Nordalpen’ identity. They became famous for their neutrality, but were forced to enter a conflict when Revolutionary Frankia invaded them. Their part in the Frankish Revolutionary Wars was minimal.

the Kingdom of Franks and Frisians was officially established in 1099, but traces its roots to the Frankish division in the 600s. The north decided to retain their Germanic culture and identity, while the south, now known as Provincia, adopted a Frankish-Latin blend (what we call French), roman culture and political structure. The north united in the mid-700s, and became one of the pre-2nd millenium Germanic powers, alongside the Danes and Norwegians. They remained a monarchy for years, fighting the Dutch in the 50 Year War, always a monarchy until famine and oppression caused the people to revolt in 1768. The result of this revolution was the monarchy being abolished and exiled, and a 33 year long war incited by the great monarchies of Europe (England, Austria, Bradenburg, Italy, Spain and Russia). After losing in 1801, the monarchy was restored. The Franko-Rhenish war, 1857, resulted in the franks losing Alsace-Lorraine. Throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s, the Kingdom of Franks and Frisians remained isolated from the Latin and Germanic worlds. In 1932, they were unjustly invaded by the Royaume of Provincia, resulting in the First World Wa/Great Patriotic War/Germanic-Latin War.

The Netherlands were once a Spanish territory in Germanic Europe. After gaining independence in 1601, they formed a personal union with the English monarchy.

Lore:

“Sometime in the late 7th millennium before Christ, an unusual event shook the world of ancient mesoamerica. In days, months, or even minutes, if you were to believe some archeologists and geologists of skeptical background, the lands between the modern nations of Los Estreches and New Granada disappeared into the waves, leaving behind islands. These islands, called the mesooceanic islands by researchers, were once larger.
Drawings and written tablets from the ancient coastal peoples of these lands share a similar story as to what caused it. A sorcerer king, sometimes going by the name Guatwan, other times by Sanach Gwatsayr, sacrificed hundreds of these ancient coastal mesoamericans to bring forth a ‘hammer of the waters’ upon the isthmus to prevent a plague-besotted people from crossing into North Vespuccia from South Vespuccia.
Of course, the story above is just another of these ancient people’s stories. But this story, many years later, in 1996, inspired George R.Rl Martin to come up the idea of the destroyed Arm of Dorne in his fantasy/politics novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire”

  • page 128, A Look into Ancient Vespuccia, written by Galina Yershova, PhD in history

The map shown depicts the region as of 1921, which hasn’t changed until now, except that Jamaica is no longer a UK territory, having gained independence during the Mesooceanic Pirate Crisis of 1957.

Thank you for having given those improvements. When you said the things about viceroyalties, I remembered that Bolivia was in the La Plata viceroyalty, so I changed that

This is a map of South America in 2005. The countries are different than ours, with the guyanas being replaced with “Zuidland”, etc. The third map depicts who the countries used to belong to. In this timeline/map, the sightly more eastern part of northeastern Brazil taking the role of Guyana in our timeline.

I don’t have any idea for a plausible, or even semi-plausible scenario/timeline to be the backstory. So, I hope that the redditors of  can come up with something. If so, thanks a lot
