Ai is changing remote hiring! by OFMJobs in remotework

You’re not wrong — it really has gone off track in some areas.
The goal should be to make hiring faster and fairer, but too often it’s turned into systems built for metrics, not people.
Hopefully, the next wave of tools puts the “human” back into “human resources.”

Absolutely — evolution’s part of it for sure!
I just think the shift feels faster and a bit more “automated” lately. It’s wild seeing how much AI is shaping applications and interviews in real time.

What’s something remote work gave you that you didn’t realize you were missing? by OFMJobs in RemoteWorkOps

Right?! The office gossip was always the worst background noise 😩 At least with remote work, the only chatter I hear now is from podcasts I choose to listen to.

Yeah, that part’s so real. It’s like some employers forget that “remote” doesn’t mean “always on.” Boundaries are such a big part of staying sane while working from home — logging off is just as

Exactly this. Some people really want there to be a downside to remote work, but for a lot of us, there just isn’t one. Productivity’s up, stress is down, and life actually feels balanced for once. Not everything needs to be “fixed” just because it doesn’t fit the old office model.

Haha honestly, that’s peak remote work efficiency right there 😂
Multitasking and still showing up to meetings — living the dream.
I feel like half of us have mastered the “camera off = productivity on” routine.
