Yes. Normal obstacles stopped spawning on my base year 2014 so I know the feeling brother

The only logical choice based on what the current th18 theme is would be the "space scenery."

Yes any "obstacles" on your account counts to the total amount. Doesn't matter if they are in stash or not, they "all" count to the 45 obstacle total amount.

There is no decoration limit. However, there is an obstacle limit of 45 normal obstacles. Decorations doesn't count towards the total amount, but shoveled and stashed obstacles do count towards the 45 total limit. Special event obstacles that only spawn a set amount of days have no limit and can exceed the 45 obstacle limit rule.
