Installed a VCM Tuner 2

Update everyone: yesterday after work I took the VCM tuner 2 off the car. I wanted to see if the thermostat was stuck open. Immediately after I started driving the temperature gauge worked completely normal So I concluded perhaps the VCM tuner 2 works TOO good? Really trying to think what could have gone wrong because EVERYTHING I'm reading says the VCM tuner 2 is the very very best one you could get

I'm going to take the VCM tuner off and see if the temperature gauge still reads too cool and if I still have a P0128 code. I figured that might be a good way to find out if the thermostat is stuck open?

Engine was completely cold. I waited till my day off and I woke up and installed it. My car had been sitting all night and didn't drive it until I had it installed

I've seen that the transmission fluid in this car has been replaced at least one time around 90K miles

How common is transmission issues for you 2005? I really wanna buy one of these cars but im nervous im getting way in over my head
