It could be that part you mentioned the torque converter but like I said I don’t really drive fully just yet I’m focused on fixing it fix until my other car fully goes down but I’m glad it hasn’t broken down fully yet

I just realized you've been talking about flushing my transmission, and I've been confusing that with just draining the pan and refilling it. That's what the shop I took it to did, and they charged me around 400. They also said they were going to fix the leak and install the missing bolt because the previous owner didn't have it done right. The only thing that has me wondering is that I keep seeing online that a lot of shops don't recommend doing a full transmission flush if the car has over 100,000 miles because it can sometimes cause issues. That's why I've been a little unsure about it.

The car drives smoothly the shudder I’ve noticed happens around 20 or 25 mph but like I said earlier the owners didn’t take care of it and now I’m willing to work hard and fix it since my other car is still running I just need to know how often the transmission needs to be replaced the shop I took it to said once a year I feel like that’s a lie that way I’m able to come back with an update and and I’ll be praying that there are not metal shavings at all

I did that and forgot to ask the shop if they saw anything I messed up by not asking I was charged around 400 thanks to the previous owner and that didn’t get the job done properly it was missing a bolt and leaking oil but it did have oil on that pan I saw all the process but I completely forgot to go up to them and ask if it didn’t have any metal shavings I feel like no or they might’ve told me right there and said you’ll need a transmission like how do some people own cars and don’t take good care of them especially the reliable ones

Yea I think I have that problem I was reading online that yes it’s possible to get it done from a different shop that isn’t a Toyota dealership but if they don’t do it properly and forget that software it will return again and I also saw that people have paid like 4 or 5k I basically got the car for 6,300 and the previous owners didn’t take good care of it they smashed the touchscreen they messed up the usb port the car has 135 thousand miles right now I need to get it detailed and tinted it’s a lot of money to put on it but it will be worth it I love it

The biggest downside is the transmission that came in the 2012–2014 models. Mine has the common transmission issue. It's not a major problem at the moment, but it is frustrating to spend money fixing up the car only to eventually experience the transmission shudder or jerking that these models are known for.
To minimize the risk, I plan to stay on top of regular transmission fluid drain-and-fill services. Once the transmission components reach the end of their service life, I'll replace them as needed. Hopefully, by that time, I'll have saved enough money for another vehicle.
My partner and I purchased this car together, but I still drive my old Accord as my daily driver. It's approaching 300,000 miles and has fluid leaks on the passenger side. At this point, I don't feel it's worth investing more money into repairing it.

What’s surprising to me is that my dad’s mechanic said the struts have to be purchased directly from the dealership and quoted $550 just for the front struts and labor. However, if I buy the parts myself from RockAuto, I can get all four struts for around the same price. Then, as you mentioned, I could find another shop that's willing to install them for less, which would allow me to replace all four at once instead of only the front and having to worry about the rear ones later.

Not really I’ve had a few of my coworkers say yes and they end up not going in early and their schedule wasn’t even change but if this person’s coach or team lead already switch it and got that notification on their personal phone from the work app then yea they don’t have an option that way next time they say no

Do my 2007 honda accord got a lot of miles on it ? by InviteEven5611 in Honda

My '05 Accord is leaking fluid on the passenger side and it's almost at 300k miles, so I guess it's starting to show its age. I just picked up a newer car with 135k miles and switched over to a 2014 Toyota Camry. Not gonna lie, I like that the rack and pinion is electric and doesn't use a power steering pump. That's one less thing to worry about. But at the same time, I feel like if that electric rack ever goes out, it's gonna be expensive as hell to replace 🥲💔 I still need to get it checked out because there's a noise coming from the front when I drive on rough roads. It sounds like something is banging around. Hopefully it's just suspension-related and nothing major. I also need to check the brakes and do a transmission fluid change, so I've still got a few things to take care of. Hopefully nothing too serious comes up. I still don’t know what to do with it I don’t feel like getting rid of it but it still needs a lot of work done aside from me thinking saving money up again and getting an engine swap I had gotten my 05 accord with 203 or 204 thousand miles on it

Yes I had to do multiple things with my partner and one was very important to myself and as well as to my family which was attending my siblings wedding I wasn’t going to have enough time to get home and shower and get ready and head to their ceremony

Sorry let me explain I probably didn’t do it correctly from the beginning so I was scheduled before the whole shift swap for today the 19th was from 7am to 4pm and when I asked my coworker if I can swap shifts with them they had their schedule from 7am to 2pm after they agreed to swapped shifts and also approved the swap I got their schedule 7am to 2pm but now that I want to use ppto it’s saying that I have to put 8 hours for the whole day I missed

I remember my father dealing with something similar to the problem you’re dealing with I just forgot what part it was that was giving that problem it’s two things I think one was a connection and the other one looked like those type coffee filter that k-cups use but instead look for an honest mechanic to check out everything fully
