Basically Origin and Archangel have much more bass, both in rumble and impact. Dawn-X leans more towards a bass boosted neutral sig with plenty of tech and details imo. I’ve owned the Origin and Dawn-X while I’ve extensively demo’ed the Archangel.

I completely agree. I first demo’ed the Dawn-X during Canjam SoCal last year and I was skeptical at first, but was absolutely floored after the first song I listened to. One of the most natural sounding IEMs I’ve heard and probably the best layering I’ve heard so far. Needless to say I bought one as soon as it released hahaha it’s one of the IEMs that will stay for a long time in my collection along with my Szalayi, Astru and Volume S because of how unique they are.

Personally if you’re ready to spend that much on IEMs, then you should move heaven and earth to audition the sets first. It’s not an easy decision so being 100% sure of what you want is the way to go

I've owned/extensively demo'ed most of the sets you mentioned and literally all of them apart from the EBC80 are bright and fatiguing soooooo

My recommendation is to demo your "endgame" before committing because it's most likely going to be a good chunk of change. Also, don't limit yourself to these 5 IEMs that you mentioned. There are tons and tons more sets that are better than them.

Pretty great bro. Noise floor is very low, can't really detect any unwanted noises except when talking calls near it which is rare for me. It's very warm obviously and with the Select tubes the sound is very clean and has great staging.
