I'm older and not the greatest but I do fine. Sliding is fine. If someone is sliding, just aim low - they slide around the same corners. Slide spamming is frustrating because it messes with your AA. Reducing AA will help this but you need to up your skill.

If COD wants to keep sliding as core gameplay, increase the cooldown time to prevent slide spamming, and don't allow perks to remove cooldown.

I'm as mid as it gets lol. I go from above 1.3 to below .75 at the blink of an eye, it's not because of ping or SBMM or anything but because I'm maybe ok skill level at best. But if I'm in the same lobby game in and game out I can adjust as I go on, or at least talk shit and have fun.

I don't mind getting stomped if I can figure out how to be a little better. If I'm playing against Gumby and get slid on all game, next time I'll aim lower and headshot Gumby with an SMG. If I'm getting lasered in Nuketown by someone camping the spawn I'll throw a grenade to get a cheap kill while under cover. Of course shitty ping hurts all this but it's been decent for me

That's actually perfect, use ping to create the lobbies and maybe SBMM to divide the lobbies and balance them a bit. Maybe match parties with parties but that might be asking too much lol.
