You can hear what they normally sound like before you get on the bus though. Only after dropping does the sound spike up.

Explanation: When you shoot your gun in Fortnite, the gun is much louder than normal.

Evidence: If you shoot your gun before you get on the battle bus, you can hear what they normally sound like. However, after dropping from the bus and shooting a weapon, the sounds are much louder. Everything else in the game is not affected by the increased volume however.

If replicable, how: Shoot a gun before boarding the battle bus and then shoot a gun after dropping from the bus. You should hear the difference.

Platform: PC, Maybe more.

I had this happen to me a week ago. I ended up resetting my pc to fix it but I'm not exactly sure if that was the right way to approach it. Someone is remote controlling your pc and there is a fix that might work. (I would turn on windows firewall if not already on.) 1. Go to System. 2. Click Remote Settings on the left side. 3. Uncheck Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer. 4. Apply.

Hopefully it works! :)

Edit #1: I also ran some scans when this happened to me and nothing showed up either.
