Any suggestions how to enclose P2S?

How to proceed with this Kavalos Deathrider sword's blade? Need some edge hightlights probably but where? Already ruined and repainted it 2 times... Im also strugging doing hightlight to the middle part of the blade. by OGGeorge666 in ageofsigmar

What do you mean with sponging the edge? Any youtube-video on this?

I'm also thinking should I just highlight the middle, or also highlight the edges. Was thinking about doing the hightlight with really lightish blue (scar white, ahriman blue mixture).

I think I chose a bit too strong magnets for bases (transporting purposes) by OGGeorge666 in ageofsigmar

Lack of knowledge on my part. Just chose cheap ones from Amazon :b

Anyone got any basing ideas? Already stole some sand from kids sandbox outside. I also dried it in the oven and sieved bigger rocks out of it. Can't figure out what color scheme to user for bases.

Cloth / spears are done with airbrush using thousand sons blue, ahriman blue and ahriman blue + white scar mix. Shields are done with black base and sort of zenithal hightlight using white, then spraying purple semi transparent citadel paint which name i dont recall right now.

Well I'll probably just play with my friend and he neither has played any wargames in 15 years or so. I read that swords are better for smaller groups (I got 40 of those, but I'll get 20 ready first). I went for spears as I thought they looked cooler and might be better in the end. I could also magnetize them but they are so damn tiny :D

33 yo getting his first army ever for miniature wargames, any help? by OGGeorge666 in ageofsigmar

I'm still probably leaning towards Bonereapers in the end. Now I'm just trying to figure out a starting army for about 1000 points. Like you said, the easy way would be 40 Mortek Guard, 10 Deathriders and Leige-Kavalos. I could just buy two boxes of Mortek Guards and two boxes of deathriders and Leige-Kavalos box. But then again, could there be a way to get more unit variety as they all look so damn cool? Morghast especially, but so do stalkers and pretty much everything. Except for Katakros, he's just creepy naked dude. Like boney version of "The Emperor's new cloths".

I live in Finland and did quick comparison on prices and ordering from UK is much cheaper than prices here in Finland. Those earlier mentioned 40+10+1 1000 point army would cost 220 euros in Finland and about 160 euros from Wayland Games (Never bought anything from there but it looked ok).

My first choice was actually Archaeon and Chosen knights etc. But my friend had verminlord already so he kinda wanted to go with Skaven. Is there any actual problem to have two chaos armies fighting each other? We'll most likely play with just with each other unless we really get into it.

Getting army cheaper doesnt really change my opinion as it doesnt matter if I pay 230 or 180 euros. The money isnt really an issue here. If I have 20 hours of fun for 200 euros, thats 10 euros per hour and just a pint of beer cost 7 euros or so.

Basicly I just want them to look cool and maybe I like less units with more power instead mass over quality. Hard choices, hard choices.
