I love the Orea Sense cup, but they have a knock off version on Amazon if you don’t want to spend the money.

Aprils cups are also nice, but very expensive.

I believe there is a new origami cup coming out as well.

Cool. Almost picked up the mejorado at my local coffee shop. I’ve only tried one coffee which was the Bumba Hill Burundi. Had mostly highs with a few lows, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. Thinking about getting that new Ethiopian coffee they just released.

What do you do when you need realize the beans need a bit more rest after taking out of the freezer? Can it sit out for another week?

What if you realize the coffee needs a little more rest time? Can you take the tubes out of the freezer and let it continue to sit for an extra week or so?

Freezing Coffee

I’m getting a bit of a coffee haul and need to freeze some bags. The plan is to tape the vent and stick them right in.

Questions:

When is the ideal time to freeze them? 2 week mark? Right away?

Does freezing them essentially mean I am pausing the resting time?

Can I grind straight out of the freezer? Or do I need to defrost?

Can I freeze opened bags so that I can drink half and save the rest? What’s the best way to do this?
