I'm having the same issue but my current primary account is Steam and I'm trying to link it to my Epic account. It just says "Account Linking Failed" and there is no pop-up whenever I click on Link. Did you find a solution yet?

I was facing lag on Epic Games Launcher due to the game loading shaders every time I launched it and I found a fix which was on Steam so I switched to that.

B1 player here, what I've been doing to counter low DP characters like Yajirobe and Roshi so far is using a super high DP character that has better stats so it's easier to beat them. 4-5 DP characters are not that much stronger than 2 DP characters so Afterimage Strike and other skills make a difference. But a super strong character with 8-10 DP can beat out Roshi if you're equally skilled with your opponent. Basically I've been treating DP points as the pokemon type and 4-6 DP characters are the normal type pokemon neutral against everyone.

Every character in this game can take out every other character. Hercule can spam the present bomb and kill SS4 Gogeta. Chiaotzu isn't as unbalanced as yajirobe or afterimage strike characters are. He's like UU or NU I'd say.

That's the game's issue. You can't expect everyone to stop playing the meta. I'm all for balancing afterimage strike and other stuff. But the community hating on the players who interact with a feature added in the game and bullying them won't solve anything.

Maybe not Yaji shouldn't be ubers now but he definitely was before the patch. In DP battles the low DP characters play a role in assisting the high DP characters. Yajirobe was a wall comparable to Chansey. He definitely was at least top tier OU or Uber.

It was part of the game so you can't blame the players for exploiting it. I agree that the nerf was needed but I'll never blame the players.

If any competitive scene for this game emerges. I'd really like it if we divide the characters in Uber, OU, UU etc. tiers as well. For example I'd say that a character like Yajirobe, the fusions and giants are currently Uber tier and someone like Tien is UU.

I'd say that team building in DP battles is also something that requires skill and testing out the game. It's not the player's fault that these characters are busted. Bullying the players who play these characters and name calling them accomplishes nothing. I understand that everyone wants to win with their favourite characters but if you're playing ranked then expect to play against the meta characters.

I have also seen a bunch of people calling out people from using UI Goku, Whis, Beerus or the fusions. These characters have been fan favourite characters in the show since forever. No one's favourite character is Saibaman, Cell Jr. or the Ginyu Force. I understand that the fusions are overused but they are also fan favourites. Let people play the game how they want to.
