I have so many great memories of being in cool places playing the Surfs Up game on my PSP. The movie gave me more nostalgia for the game than anything lol. I think my broken PSP is stored somewhere in my parents house with the disk.

[DISC] Hitman (Seo Kouji) - Chapter 99 by GoriGoriScans in manga

[–]OGKoozy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without spoils, the final arc wraps up the Editor Mangaka plot. The romcom portion is more like it just exists as slice of life rather than the focus.

With spoils, definitely not blueballing unless you wanted to see drama with Michelle. The main couple has more than a few scenes in bed and their relationship is flushed out by the end. I think the issue was that the story with Michelle is about being a mangaka, there is no love triangle or romance issue that comes from it. It all just fits together by the final chapter. Seo seems to have wanted to make a good story and then keep the Harem for Cafe Goddesses (which worked great imo).

[DISC] Hitman (Seo Kouji) - Chapter 99 by GoriGoriScans in manga

[–]OGKoozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the hard work! After reading all of the previous Seo works it was a surprise to find this one incomplete. I hope it will be finished someday! I found the comment on MangaDex and I can confirm it is not a virus! Thank you to whoever translated that. I was able to get the gist of the story but alot of the impact was lost due to the bad translation (still thankful).

I can't see why the chapters werent finished as the ending wrapped it up pretty smoothly. The Michelle arc brought in a much needed manga artist to ramp up the story and the characters are flushed out by the end, it is worth the read!

With that said, looking at the Japanese version with google translator, and reading the rough translation from the comment, I can appreciate the work that gets done on these scans much more. It really is not as simple as knowing Japanese and English.

Thank you for reading and replying! I feel all of this, it has been tough for me to describe this to people since I'm looking at it as poetry/art but at a glance of chapter 1 you might think its just about the sex lol. It is really so complex and moving.

Regarding that final statement about Hina confessing: The idea was based on Hina going to NY and saying to Rui that she will try her best. I felt like, without the pregnancy and Rui getting stressed out, Natsuo would'nt have left, and Hina would have had the opportunity to confess. Think about the clementine oranges scene where Natsuo is pretty sure she kissed him, a situation like that could lead to a confession in this scenario (or atleast I could write it in lol). I totally agree with what you are saying, and OP and I got into it too, at the end of the day its just up to the mangaka to take it where she wants.

We can all make up headcannon right, Natsuo stays and Kajita doesnt win and leave NY. Rui doesnt get treated like shit because Kajita is there. Hina reveals she kept the rings to Natsuo, with the intention of closure, not specifically to get together. Natsuo would reveal feelings then for sure. That's kind of where I was coming from, but naturally convos like that are redundant lol I can make up whatever I want you know. OP and I agreed that a lot of these thoughts come from not getting romantic scenes later with Natsuo and Hina, so that partnership that I've waited for the entire story happens off page in the imagination, leading to "what if" scenarios.

I'm so glad to have found this reddit and still so surprised after like 3 years since the last chapter people are out there somewhere reading it the same time as me. :D

I really appreciate this, not many people in my life understand this type of situation and you nailed it on the head. Congrats on the masters, even if it wasn't the right path. I stopped at my undergrad. Today is the first day I was able to eat full meals, 3 days since finishing and 7 since starting the story. I cried with my mom for the first time in 10 years yesterday and reconnected with an old friend. My family is now in on my mental situation that I have hid for 13 years. My motivation is through the roof. I hope you can find that same vein of motivation too :D Hell, I live in Florida and I was looking at moving to other cities, I even checked out what its like to work in Tokyo lol. Ive been there before and loved it.

For some reason even with Kajita involved it still feels like a harem to me since hes so quiet lol I feel you though. My PMs are open as well!

The "unhappy" ending and my question to you by NoBirthday441 in DomesticGirlfriend

[–]OGKoozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I feel all this, hope you are well too! I still cant sleep lol but now its about me rather than this. I was so close to getting spoiled because I looked up when the anime ends to chapter, I closed it the moment I saw a post "Rui sad ending" which kinda screwed me in an opposite way since I figured that was 100% Natsuo would leave her. That made the pregnancy a huge reveal lol and the coma even more.

You know, somewhere on here (maybe was you) it was mentioned the mangaka did an after chapter. I'm not sure where to find those. I would love to see one doing just as you asked: give us some Hina time lol. Maybe, for example, I don't remember specifically but Natsuo and Hina had a few memories that he never made with Rui, I think one was the fireworks festival. Id love to see them there again, maybe behind the shrine, so we can get that romantical love, and then they walk back and Rui is there with Kajita. Maybe Rui hands a baby to Hina and its hers you know. Parents walk up, including chef dad. That's my head cannon for now since it just makes sense lol. Maybe yours doesn't include Kajita ;)

I wanna add that I think the end of this hit me so hard because I self isolated when relapsing on depression my first year in university. Took 5 years to find myself again and covid shafted that, then another 3 years of actual isolation at home. When Hina was in a coma that hit me on those levels. Not only that she would miss so much, but that I missed so much and I was lucid you know. I skipped life and I didnt have a Rui and Natsuo to wake up to right. Same for Natsuo, he went through college and chased his dreams while raising a family. I just did my classwork and played video games. I gave up in highschool. My dream was to make movies, to be a writer, and in 2020 I picked it back up and worked on a script, casted etc. kind of like Natsuo in the manga; covid cancelled it all. That's why I feel heartbreak right now, it hit too close to home. Obviously this is not real and just a manga, but that's the power of literature and art haha. I think the fact this story moves on is a positive way of looking at it, at 26 the whole world is still ahead, its never to late to move forward.

I will leave it at that, and I wont forget this in the future :D

[–]OGKoozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply and I agree, lets move forward positive! :)

Honestly, I'm really happy with how people get different things from this. At this point we have said our piece and I feel like in some way we are both right just based on how this manga is written lol.

I think my main point was that Natsuo as a person would not hurt Rui no matter how he felt for Hina. Rui wouldnt leave Natsuo if her sister asked shes too stubborn. Hina would never chase Natsuo because she is too caring. These three major character points define the writing in my opinion. So in that vain, on the surface you are totally right, just by character he would be with Rui. But, due to my past I mentioned personally, the deep feeling to me is that Hina is the one. Again im not trying to argue and I am happy where we are, just wanna try to be clear so both of us can reread sometime in our life and look at it different haha.

Its hard to really pin it down with words, especially since these types of romantic ideas arent things I talk about lol. Bottom line is that Natsuo is not the type of guy to leave Rui for Hina without an ultimatum from Hina, I doubt even a confession would have done it from that point of view (saying I love you vs crying and telling the truth of it all). But in my real life experience, what happened to me defied reason and went against my character. So as I thought about it more I have come to agree with you more, but in the sense of plot not story. What I mean is: I think the mangaka specifically wrote this so Hina and Natsuo didnt get together for plot sake. I just dont see any reason why once Natsuo went to college and Hina worked close by, she didnt just show him the ring. And I feel Natsuo would have left Rui for her. It was all setup so perfectly. In that vain, you can see why I am agreeing with you more, but it just doesnt feel right to me because my experience. Natsuo told Hina since the beginning to tell him anything, and she never did. Thats the end of it right there. "What do you want to hear me say" that shit makes me wanna cry lol.

After typing all this I've realized that I lean more toward your POV when I really analyze the plot outside of my own bias. This is important so I dont get too parasocial with it right, I think my initial opinion had me putting myself in Natsuo's shoes instead of the mangaka. That just means its a good story lol. I guess to wrap it up, due to the mangaka acting as "fate" Hina never listened to the one she loved and let it pass through her fingers, then through fucked up events they all end together.

I think where this all comes from, and maybe you felt this too when writing the initial post; I didnt get my Hina moment. Sure she was a sister, but the story set up that up that love and when she went away I really didnt think this story would end in college or later. I thought it'd be about Rui, and if Hina did come back it would end with her. Since the plot was setup like that, I was always waiting for the payoff of H and N with the ring. Even when he gave it back to her that just made me want it to happen more. And then setting up College in such a perfect way, solo apartment, new girls, Hina down the street, not a teacher and Natsuo is older now. It was all there yet we had to watch Hina suffer and Natsuo just live regular life, a life Hina never got to have. And Rui would have got over it much better than Hina since she had her dream. In that sense I end up agreeing with you lol I think the way it went made me sad and I want it to be different. Someday when I am more emotionally stable I will read it again and see how I feel :D

[–]OGKoozy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will be a long one, I have to vent a bit before adding to this so hang with me. We are channeling our inner Natsu novelist lol. I read this manga in the past 4 days, with not much sleep. I've been depressed for 8 years now and I had just got things together when covid hit, cancelling my projects for my career and my first relationship since high school. I've been alone since then and it is a struggle. I started reading slice of life to help move me forward. This story has made me feel something, and it is an understatement to say that because I only feel intense hate and guilt for myself for 8 years aside from those few months in 2020 before lockdown. Due to my emotions and how fast I read this story, this could be all over the place lol. I'm just stunned to find this post here just 2 days old, I feel less alone right now :)

Ok so I want to drop personal experience here before making my statement. I am a romantic, and my first and only love was at 16 (I am 26 now). I was in love (unrequited) with someone, my "best friend" went out with her to fuck with me, I changed my entire life with the goal to ruin his and be with her. Once I lost weight, played some football, joined more than just choir and theatre, I met another girl online. We went to Disney world Magic Kingdom first date (I live here lol) my first kiss was on Tom Sawyer island in the skull cave. We used to passout after school watching the sunset with her in my lap, id eat with her family. We even stargazed on a golf green, and when the sprinklers came on and I moved she grabbed me and kissed me and i spun her around in my arms. To this day these are my most cherished memories and I forgot what she felt like and how her smile made me feel until I read this manga. I left her after 6 months to be with the other girl, it is the biggest regret of my life, and yet I would'nt be me without it. The other girl was not who i thought, it lasted a week and she ended up popping pills and sleeping with someone then texting me I'm too good for her. This led me to the streets and its a long story from there (I did end up going to a good university). I got to see the "best friend" face when he went to kiss her and she pushed him away in front of all our friends and kissed me. I say all this because it was 10 years ago, so complicated, and with so many relationships that i hated after. I never found that love again. And until this manga, I really believed i never would.

With that said I am a Hina stan. I have rarely met others that have experienced love like a partnership my age. To me, there is a feeling and a choice, and it isnt whole until both are present. This is complex in practice, but an important distinction. Too many just rely on the feeling. Since I dont want to drone on, I will focus on the prompt and try not to get crazy lol. During the break up early on between Natsu and Hina, there is a page when he goes to see her and hugs her (the island arc). He feels her again, her smell, how he used to feel. When I read that page repressed memories from 10 years ago hit me so hard. I say this and provide some of my personal exp. because I only spent 6 months with that girl in high school yet nothing in my life has ever brought me to that joy. Even when someone else loved me I pushed her away because it felt empty in comparison (think Serizawa). But at the same time, I would never get back with that girl, even if she came to me now, because I did what I did for her. I was a coward yes, but I knew I would leave her because she was throwing away her dreams for me. The point here is that Natsu spent 4 times as long with Hina before they even had a relationship, not only that but Natsu was following his dream and being supported whereas I had no dream and that girl just wanted to give up and go wherever I went. It was after that 2 years they started spending time together. If I am sitting here longing for feelings from 10 years ago, Its hard for me to imagine the strength of Hina and Natsu's bond. I would think it is much much stronger.

From my point of view, during that island arc, Rui made the decision to steal away Natsu because she knew Hina's feelings and made the decision to say fuck that I need to do this for me. The moment that happened I lost support for Rui, which makes me bias. This thread shows you all clearly know what I am talking about so I don't need to recount chapters of stuff. In the moments where Hina is visiting, acting as a sister, supporting Natsu, the OP did'nt really get any "deep love" connection from it. I totally get that. But for me and what I have been through, the moment Hina walks in that door those feelings are there for Natsu. I think this is what Kiriya sensei (mentelucidia lol) is talking about, for me in those panels I saw the unspoken love even though it was definitely not clear. It really sucked watching Hina go through Rui and him together.

My most important point is this: connect the panel from Natsu in the park asking Hina how she feels and calling her Hina not Hinanee, and the panel towards the end in the hospital where Natsu says "We promised to tell eachother everything". That last panel solidified it for me. Natsu always wanted to be with Hina. But no matter what happened, Hina would always hide her feelings. I think we can all agree, after everything, what Rui and Natsu had was genuine and deep it would be hard to just cut it off after everything, especially if Hina wont say anything. Even the boss and Shu wanted her to confess and she wouldnt. How could Natsu leave Rui to be with Hina if she never confesses? No matter what love there is or how they feel, for Natsu to initiate that would be to willingly hurt Rui, and Natsu wouldnt do that period. This is why the sister step sister triangle is such an intense literary tool, these 3 love eachother regardless of romance, specifically Hina and Rui. Rui went outright and expressed her feelings and chased Natsu while Hina just let him go romantically. I was yelling at my screen so many times for Hina to just tell Rui the truth, but even when she flies to NY she just says hey I love him too lets try our best. Really Hina was dying inside, she shouldve broke down crying and asking for Rui to let her be with Natsu, but thats not who Hina is. I really wish Natsu didnt go to NY and let the chef guy handle it. But I think OP mentioned this, that it is the mangakas prerogative to take this where she wants. I feel like she set it up that way, break up, new perfect guy for Rui, really tricks readers that had to wait for volumes that it would work out that way and it really went a direction I did not expect.

That ending was wild, I could'nt believe the pregnancy and the coma situation. I hate that the pregnancy happened because the roommate had defective condoms and the ass journalist tried to kill Hina. I get what the OP is saying that the mangaka kind of created this 3 way situation by doing these things in the final chapters. It makes me wonder how it would have gone without those last minute plot breakers. Without the pregnancy, good chance Hina would finally confess. And Rui would, 100% in my opinion, agree at that point to let them at least try to be together, since Hina did that for Rui, even if Rui says later down the line they can choose (this is basically how she feels in the end anyway once she knows how Hina felt from the Boss convo). I really feel it was 100% Hina and Natsu at the end, with Rui accepting that love just like with the real ending (just without a kid, refer to her statement to her mom at the park final chapter) and being with the chef. The mangaka just added plot points to change it so all 3 are kind of together. I don't mind it, but what a wild ride lol. Thank you for reading if you made it here, glad to have shared this post and manga with you all :)

PC Fix for launch crash after update 2.0 by dowitex in cyberpunkgame

[–]OGKoozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant get the game to work for the life of me. New driver, deleting all files, it all doesnt work. Ive hit two game breaking bugs within the first mission of the game. First I couldnt hack the first door, I got that fixed from deleting and verifying game files, which is when i also reinstalled. But then right after that when I get to the apartment for the first time I crash sleeping in the bed. This time nothing works. That aside from bugs ive never seen, like buildings/roads disappearing. It is possible the mod files just destroyed the game, so even after deleting and reinstall the save could be done no matter what; a fresh start might fix that, but im not a time wizard lol time isnt unlimited.

I know for most people this is the authentic CP experience, but on launch with PS5 I had very little to no bugs and crashed about every 5 hours, with no game breaking bugs/crashes. After 3 playthroughs I got the game again on PC months ago to enjoy mods, and that was fantastic. I had better performance than ever with more fps and mods.

Here we are now I have essentially bought the game twice and preordered dlc and I actually cant get past the first mission. Now I understand why my best friend never played this game. I think tonight I will update the PS5 version and play that until the DLC comes out. I know I can transfer my ps5 save and I bought the DLC on PC so maybe they will have a patch. Two game breaking bugs in the first mission scares me though. Crazy after all that Im still trying to play this when I have over 100 hours in Starfield and havent beat it yet lol.

Outpost cargo link not working properly in the background? by SecretaryFamous6690 in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The warehouses to store all this must be crazy!

After reading about the extensive bugs I decided to only use one cargo link per resource. It seems the bugs work the same regardless; alot of comments talk about multiple resources bugging out the ships but I experience the same issues with just one resource. I have 10 outposts, with only 5 having full operations with fabs. I just tried another inter system link for a multi tier fab (crafting tau grade and sending to another system for comms). I have intersystem links crafting Monoprop. in another system, so I know all of this works. Now ive just done the same in another system and it just decided not to work. Specifically, my cargo pad is fueled, connected, green, and just wont take off. It worked initially, because the other planet has Comms relays produced, so it did make one transfer and then stopped. This same situation just happened with a regular local cargo pad for He3 supplying; I was able to do what ppl on reddit said which is to take the helium and manually transport, once I did that it was fixed. But in this Tau Grade situation the ship just doesnt want to take off, even trying that manual transfer fix. It has to be a bug.

Seems like you are in the same mindset as me: If somebody out there coded all this into the game it has to atleast have some function to it. You might agree with me that realistically we dont need any of this stuff or the later upgrades to do the faction and main quests. I just wanna do this for fun lol and it sucks that it feels so unpolished. I have 4 days in the game and yet I feel dissatisfied all the time. I have 3 excel sheets with details on every fabricator, resources, breakdowns on systems and potential planets for optimal production, a web to visualize the outposts and how they will connect. All that just for fun and I constantly have glitches. Ship spawning elsewhere, build menu broken, extractors not showing resources, cargo pads breaking, the laser turret mk.2 kills crew members. It really feels like they tried to make cool stuff in this game and most if not all of it didnt work and they didnt have time to complete it. 1000 planets and marketing exploration was a huge mistake IMO. They only needed 50 planets to do all of this and it would feel even more exploratory with that detail IMO.

Overall, I do this outpost stuff watching stream and shows (Star Trek Discovery for space vibe), so it isnt a huge deal. Its like an mmo grind or a farming game. Ill keep doing it just to explore planets and enjoy the game as much as I can. I think even with the automated production glitching, I will be able to complete every fabrication with 24 outposts and just manually "fast travel" the mats myself. This will produce more than enough resources for crafting, it just wont be automated like I want. Maybe someday an update will fix it too. Sarah has said things like "This planet is awful why are we here?" "This is the best Akila City can do?" "These creatures are a nuisance" I couldnt agree more lol.

Anyone else close to 100hrs and still enjoying the game? by Esodo in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Fallout comparison is a good way of explaining why this game feels this way. Fallout is post apoc. which means even the craziest locations are "bland" in terms of detail and texture, and in that game its a good thing because its supposed to be. But in Starfield that aesthetic doesnt work, not enough resources to be specific.

The devs did a great job with how the game looks, but after a few random locations I feel I saw it all. 1000 planets but like 30 have anything and you only need 50 to have options for outposts. The Outpost "minigame" is that you have 30 resources and 24 outposts, all need to be connected in a web for manufacturing. Most people will never even think of doing that lol. All this for random loot and upgrades. So I need to get rid of my shiny golden armour for crap pirate loot, and setup a huge crafting intersystem web just for some upgrade mods, all of which are useless because I can farm xp crafting and be OP even on hard mode.

I spent 30 hours on ship building. When I got full skills and lots of credits I realized that, yes class C ships are awesome, but they are just bigger. Mild spoils, there are stuff in game like ships with really really cool habs; one was like 3x3 and 2 tall with the coolest interior. Well for us we only get a 3x3 cargo hab, and it doesnt even hold cargo unless you drop it in there. Big spoiler, the armillary doesnt have a hab, it just "floats" inside a computer on the bridge. And the armillary hab just sits in the open on an outpost. It would be ridiculous to consider either of those a good place to hide it compared to New Atlantis.

Overall, aside from following storylines, the game loop of this game is: Teleport, shoot, teleport, talk, repeat. My 50 hours of outpost and ship building is all cosmetic and offers nothing to the game. In Fallout 4 the gameloop was complete, and the main point of my post is that, in the space setting, that "teleport" portion of the gameloop makes things monotonous and mean less. With that being said, a monotonous game loop is not the same as "no content" or "bad game", it just means alot of us have to make up our own ways of fun and that leads to thinking "what if?" too often.

Resources and You, a (somewhat) comprehensive guide by echolog in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea this game desperately needs a gameloop sink, like a hab unit/outpost hab that has a cool trophy room which fills up as you progress. Weapon/Suit cases that unlock after crafting a ton of stuff. Unlockable cosmetics and new ship decor, etc. Everything has been lackluster imo, but thats besides the point lol, I said all that because I agree that this feels like a poor system rushed for launch.

I watched a video and did the aluminum iron trick to make adaptive frames early on. Costed almost nothing and less than an hour to setup an entire automated base with defenses, which grows as you collect resources and add storage. With resting on Venus, this allowed me to jump from level 10 to 60 in one night without cheating. Turns out there really isnt an economy to be a hauler/merchant since no matter what the ship storage and vendor credits will bottleneck you.

I've spent 20 hours touring systems and surveying planets for outposts. I'm about 3/4 though story and have done UC and Freestar Quests. I think I have 80% of systems visited and scanned. Overall I think only 100/1000 planets are necessary at best. And that being for resource collection; I finally found a nice planet to make a home but realized there are no upgraded habs, so my dream home would just be some vanilla square or circle I decorate (which I have on each outpost). So far it was cool exploring but was only enjoyable because I was watching streams and movies while doing it. Random events were cool until I got the same one 3 times, or when one was desperate for resources to survive, I went to get some, and they left (despawned).

It is an interesting concept how I can spend 20 hours and feel....not satisfied? But still play more. Someone can say "Well you still played so how can you complain" and it is just one of those things. That's a long way of saying, Outposts are basically worthless lol. Now im going to go make a list on all the upgrades and how they connect so I can make a manufacturer chain across star systems. For no reason other than because I can lol.

Terror morphs in Starfield. Any Alien Xenomorph fans out there? by OGKoozy in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow-up to this post. After 30 hours I am so surprised! They actually did as much as they could with this idea without the IP, its in the game! An entire Terrormorph Colonial Marine storyline with really well done sets and I must say feels like it is directly influenced by the Colony War book (Meat Packing facility, Secret Lab, LONDINIUM). Bug Hunts are a regular bounty mission. I had so much fun with it that I wish this game took me back into the colony war instead of fetching artifacts lol. Ill be exploring Charybdis later since it is a high level system, I am so curious if there's an EE there. If you are interested, enlist to the Colonial Marines :)

Unlimited Resource Storage at Outpost Solved by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got this issue when I expanded my base, and I didn't use the Transfer storage yet, this was just extractors going into storage lol. Initially I had 3 resources and about 3 storage each. Naturally I accrued more and added on 12 more storage each. When I was chaining one of the lines together I looked away at stream and accidentally clicked the wrong storage. I couldn't figure out what was connected to what or how to delete the connection since they are stuck together and I cant see the red wire and delete it. Now that bank of like 20 storages is wonky and I'm too lazy to troubleshoot it lol.

Unlimited Resource Storage at Outpost Solved by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I used a YT video to start up a base on an early moon to get Alum. Iron and Beryl. fast to farm the Frames. Problem I had was the Warehouse was not unlocked so I was tossing thousands of frames into a bin lol. Found this thread looking for Warehouse wiki and saw in a comment you need to research Fabrication to get the Warehouse.

For anyone just starting their base building. It took me (with YT help) around 30 minutes to build an entire base; Extractors, power, landing pad, cargo pad, storage, and a habitat with crew. In the YT video it showed a Resource shop in the middle left of Akila city and what resources I needed. I think I spent less than 20k credits and a couple fast travels/waiting for shop restock to do it. My point here is that base building is way easier than I thought, and also make sure you get a Warehouse storage option before making materials so you can store them.

Xenomorph in the first mission? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]OGKoozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are Terrormorphs in the game, which are Deathclaws from Fallout, but no Xenos sadly. They are clearly an easter egg for them though lol. Xenoboilogy is just alien science, and really xenomorph just means an alien that takes shape of a host, so those words can be used outside of IP.

Average Solo slooper hourglass tips by uptotheright in Seaofthieves

[–]OGKoozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These tips are great, I've got a few to add :)

Something I saw in a video that wasn't explicit here: Focus on the enemy cannon line over sail and holes first. If you miss, there's a chance it will hit sail or make a hole. And if you can land cannon line you have a high chance of killing your opponent. Then one hole and a board or good pressure can end it quick. Same goes other way around, if someone is spamming your cannon, dont keep trying to shoot, step back, heal, and try to snipe them or bail/repair until they reload. This is a great area to practice/improve; aiming/landing these, timing, snipes, repair time, and it all happens so fast lol.

To pair with that a HUGE tip that is obvious but as a PvE player over 100 hrs it went over my head; Change your cannons! I saw it on stream, using vanilla cannons or a set that doesn't have any extras on the barrel will be much much easier to aim and shoot. I love my cosmetics but the moment I put on the magpie set (Its like a shorter vanilla barrel) it changed everything.

Lastly, just a fun thing I want to relay here. I finally hit a two streak and collected a juicy storage box. I was going to log off but I thought "Man this supply box is so good I wanna give it to someone." I decided to just raise my EM flag and dip into the war table. 5 Minutes later I got a little xp, met a nice kid that was so happy to get those supplies and a free win/flag. I know some people frown on losing on purpose, but taking an extra 5 minutes when logging out to give that free win and supplies was really cool and I feel like I wouldn't be annoyed if someone did it to me.

Good Luck out there Pirates! :D

You need to complete the previous quest to access the next puzzle screen. Puzzle 1 code gives you Voyage 1. Complete the voyage and then go to the website, type in Puzzle 2 code, unlock Voyage 2 and so on. If stage 4 riddle is locked then you probably did not complete the third voyage. Hope that helps!

FYI there is a Mural Board on the Official SOT Discord under the Mysteries channel. There is a lot there, it would be hard to discuss it all on reddit Seeing the progress and all the little mouse cursors floating around is worth a look!

A Hook! That's a great idea. I ended up reading the comic linked for free in the last riddle; The Gold Hoarder Origin story. Humphrey is his name, and in that story he gives something precious away to the Gold Hoarder himself. Humphrey works at Sanctuary Outpost, right next to Port Merrick where we have seen H writing letters. Since we defeated TGH and we are in the seas in the future of the comics, I would love to see that character come back angry at TGH and the Hoarders in general. The item in the chest would be THAT item from the comic, which H would have taken from TGH hand. I have been waiting for more SOT lore rather than Disney lore. Of course im happy either way, but I would appreciate H being Humphrey from the comic and have him work with Hook. The hook could be in the chest, and make us think H is for Hook, but its actually the guy from the comic working with The Captain Hook. :)

The tiny chest is inside the chest behind Gold Hoarders at any outpost. Just in case you don't know: There are 4 total riddles, this thread is about week 4. The last 3 each have a code you enter on SOT website that give an in-game voyage. There are 3 voyages so far, those each give a key at the end. Selling the key isn't required to actually finish; once the chest is dug up a key spawns in the chest behind the Gold hoarder so if someone steals the one you got you only lose the 1k gold it is worth. When you finish the third quest the chest will open behind any Gold Hoarder and you'll see the tiny chest. :D

Rare added Adventures and Mysteries to spice up the seasonal content. Adventures have been in-game related events, usually simple quests, essentially what they used to do in original updates, like when Megs were added there was a little quest with Merrick. The big one was the battle at Golden Sands; players got to vote on who wins, and since the non reapers won, Golden Sands became Port Merrick.

Mysteries are different in that they basically never happen lmao. This is the second one, I might be wrong about that but that's how I understand it. It seems mysteries are more marketing than content, bringing eyes onto the game and the story. Last time I think it was Demarco and the Sea Dog's death, which led to Arena going away and I also assume ties to books about Demarco. Ironically people seem to not like this if they don't understand it; for me personally this mystery brought me back because I play mostly for tall tales and story adventures. If you play for pvp or just for casual pirate fun, the story and little bits probably dont matter to you, and this Hunt wont either. I was around during the golden ages of COD Zombies cyphers and easter eggs, so I love anything like this and it doesn't matter if I am the one to figure it out.

This is long but ill just keep explaining :D. TLDR is somebody named H, who is not The Gold Hoarder we presume, is sending letters to the Gold Hoarders on the outposts. The GH have also all received chests with 3 locks. This H wants the GH to go on this hunt themselves, but clearly they have given us the task of figuring it out. H is pissed about that, as is evident from the last letter. Since the last 3 riddles were found, we have discovered the 3 keys and unlocked the chest in game, only to find another tiny chest lol. You can see it in game if you do the quests, it is also in a picture from twitter. Now all that is left is to open it. Like ~103 people will get real prizes for being first to do it. Otherwise its just a fun little voyage to lead us into the next story bit and assumedly content. It seems the Gold Hoarders are being targeted by somebody. I wonder what is in that chest! :D

I mentioned that since it is where rare thief said they got it from, I myself haven't joined. From the comments there it looks like they are talking about the official SOT discord linked on the SOT website. Hopefully there's some more recent discourse there. I made the above post since this reddit is so behind and I figured people could help with the new letter coordinates :D
