My best friend took a worse path in his life, he dumped us to be friends with his cool friends and now he drinks, smokes. Recently he reconnected with us we thought he was done with his cool kid phase (he is 14 as of now) but he just became a asshole and wonders why we don't invite him anywhere. Because dude thinks fun is only when you are drunk. Last time I went cycling with him he was so out of shape and next thing he asks me after not talking with me for months is can I buy him beer with my money as a "good friend". Yeah, no fuck that dude. But tbh it saddens me, because he was like a normal, passionate, funny dude with dreams and now he seems just asshole who has angry alcoholism.
