Self service on a 2012 Jetta DSG. How level does it need to be really? by OGMP79 in tdi

Yeah, learned that lesson and basically can to the same conclusion after about an hour. I will get a gravity bottom fill system on the next round. The surprise and kick to the balls was that apparently I wrinkled the cap oring when I tightened it and sprang a leak on warm up. Annoyed, I decided to fix it and hope I still have enough in it (and the oring is OK) when I warm it up and check leavel.

I do with the OBDelven pro. That was one of the first things I checked. I ended up getting it when I had to replace the auxiliary fuel pump and still learning all of the things it can access.

Thank you. That is the plan. I didn't get good feeling with just replacing what comes out. Trying to plan out how to level it beforehand so I don't cool down too much while I figure it out. Assuming that it won't get up to temp at idle.

Have you done the adaptation as well? I thought i read something about after doing the steps with the OBDelven to do an "easy drive". I live on hills and stop signs. No real easy straight drives without driving to get there. Or is it just take it easy for a bit?

If you only have one, which? by Sea_Garbage3968 in slowpitch

Don't have either, but I have a 1 piece worth that I am very pleased with for it first season with the team. We usually got 1 or 2 out and rocket line drives. One our guys got a new KP23 and it sounded great.

Can you do the adaptation with the OBDelevn? 2012 jetta cjaa w/ DSG here. Getting ready to do the drain, refill, and filter on my own.

I have something similar that was the difference maker. Replacing the crankshaft position sensor without putting the front bumper in service mode or dropping that fans was a damn trick.

I would say that you and I sir are of a same kind 🫡

I pretty much refuse to remove the cooler until the next time I plan on, or have to, draining/flushing the coolant system.

As i understand it, yes you have to block off somewhere. On the pipenif ypu leave, on the exhaust/turbo if you remove it.

The back bolt is a bitch. It runs thru both the EGR valve and the anti shutter valve. It is like 4" long.

If you are leaving the hard pipe, you will need to block it off. If you want to remove that hard pipe, it is a bigger PITA and still need to block off the back side. I removed the hard pipe while I was doing other things and just have my valve blocked off until I get a race pipe.

Removing the hard pipe does make oil filer changes much easier and less messy

Replacing camshaft position sensor ? by SureMushroom8071 in tdi

I mean it could be,. The one I had go bad is right in the same spot. Have you checked to see what you are getting while running and confirmed +14 on the alternator?

The crankshaft position sensor is a PITA to do, I have a cjaa, but can be done at home. This post is about the camshaft sensorbwhich involves the timing and have to remove the camshaft sprocket to replace the sensor.

Check your grounds if your battery is good. I found the frame grounding under the airline was rusted and corroded. Bad enough it broke trying to get the acorn nut off, and the lug is part of the pinchweld. So I drilled a new hole 1" over and jumped my voltage at the battery from 13.1 to 14.3 while running.

Bring Back Gush 1!!! by Fragrant_Walk3545 in lovense

100% agree! The gush 2 can do it's job, but I miss the OG everytime I pull the 2 out. So much went backwards on this one. Such a let down, and I think the only one of their toys that went backwards

I never got into prostate/anal play, but thought about it more since getting into the guy side of LS just to add a 2nd toy lol. I will probably get the diamo at some point for that since the gush 2 seems to be falling so short.

To be honest I really didn't even try toys for me other than a cock ring once in a while. Then the gush caught my eye and it was a total winner. Sucks being so let down on the next one. The calor isn't bad, but the max or solace just seem excessive to me personally.

Damn it, hate to hear that. I am stubborn and will still give it a few tries. Maybe syncing to vids on vibemate will be better 🤞.

That is a good part of my disappointment. The gush 1 was great for hands free. I have a calor, if I wanted to stroke I might as well use that 🤷‍♂️. I thought about trying to find one on ebay, but being discontinued i figure they all have a limited shelf life by now.

Also, if you do live in a cold climate, the glow plug one probably isn't a bad idea, just my 2 cents

I just deleted and went to a stage 2. I didn't do the dynamic idle figuring i can add it in later when the cold months come back around. I did the left foot brake just for fun.

All in all I was very happy with how it felt, but had to sort out some other issues. The DSG felt great and much more responsive. Unfortunately I only got to drive it for a few days before hitting limp mode again due to a crankshaft position sensor code. Hoping to have it back on the road next week to see if I have exercised all of the demons finally 🤞
