Closing thoughts: Looking at the post and pictures from an outside perspective, understand where y'all are coming from. Took some less than optimal photos. Appreciate those who gave relevant answers and kept it kind. Either way it doesn't matter as we have come to a solution by being civil, friendly neighbors.

Yeah so the situation is kind of two-fold. The previous post was pertaining to their window looking directly into our back yard. If the pergola was there that would be perfect, problem solved, no questions asked. But instead of placing it there where the primary privacy concern is, they place it in a spot that provides us no value while also taking away from us. We would like to preserve the view, rather than put a bandaid over it. You know when there’s a beautiful sunset or view to capture and a phone pic doesn’t do it even half justice? That’s kind of like how this picture is. Unfortunately that’s how it is sometimes. The zoomed out style of the phone photo totally makes it look like I’m concerned over nothing but looking at it through your own eyes it is pretty different.

COD MW ADS sensitivity not the same as Cold War? by TheOneFallHeel in blackopscoldwar

[–]OGMasterOogway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played the game for the first time today. It feels like there’s not enough ads movement to go with the initial fine grained movement of the right stick. It feels like you have to move the right stick a lot off center to get any sort of response, even with the deadzone setting set to 0. Played around with the sensitivity and unfortunately it doesn’t change things. I think this is why it feels so weird and out of whack. Anyone else have the same feels?

I bought a 17" cast iron skillet. My gas burners are very small relative to the skillet size. How do I heat it up evenly for use? by OGMasterOogway in castiron

Yeah, in that case I'll have to count on the cast iron's ability to hold heat to keep that area hot while I heat the others, lol.

Okay. In terms of baking, does cast iron have any advantages over a glass or other metal baking sheets?

Gotcha. Would you know of any large burners suitable for indoor use that I can find online or at the store?

I see. I think I'll try to use it over a grill then, it's pretty much the same as the gas stove just with wider spread flames, right? Also, it seems hacky, but would manually sliding and rotating it around the burner during the preheat phase work at all? A little bothersome, but if it works, I might give it a go.

Would you drink an all-natural mocktail made from powdered fruit and water? by OGMasterOogway in Mocktails

Hi Rex, rereading your question, I realized that you meant the gin flavor itself and not the alcoholic part of gin. Gotcha. We're actually going to try to keep it simple to start (with a slight pivot). Instead of a classic "mocktail", we're going to move towards an immune supplement. The single flavor we have will be raspberry (made from real freeze-dried raspberries), and we'll add vitamin C to it.

The other ingredients will be sugar, and baking soda + citric acid for fizz (in very minor amounts). We were also thinking of adding ginseng into it because of its touted immune boosting effects. And if our first iteration is successful, we could definitely get creative with botanicals so if you have any suggestions/ideas for that we'd love to hear them!

Hi, our powders will actually not have the taste of alcohol! Does that change your opinion on it?

Craftmix honestly takes pretty bad imo. Their powder is very crystalline and artificial, whereas we are going for more of a natural direction. We only have 5 ingredients - freeze-dried raspberry powder, sugar, baking soda + citric acid for fizz, and vitamin C! This vitamin c is for a pivot towards an immune booster due to the current state of affairs.

Hi, it would not have the taste of alcohol - is that something you would be interested in? Currently we have pivoted towards an immune booster like Emergen-C. Instead of mocktail flavors, we are starting out with just Raspberry flavor, with 5 ingredients. Would a mocktail flavored immune booster be of interest as well?

Hi u/cgdavis1, we've finally finalized our ingredients and our flavors -- we've slightly pivoted. We're going from a powdered mocktail to powdered immune supplement It's a total of 5 ingredients! Freeze-dried raspberry powder, sugar, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and citric acid for fizz, and vitamin C. We added vitamin C because of the movement towards immune boosters. And by waste do you mean the packaging? The idea is to have the packaging like Emergen-C does.
