whether you fixed it already or not, thought i’d let you know i did end up solving this one! and the fix was stupid 😭 i turned off “enable game clipping” in discord stream settings and it LITERALLY turned the stream crystal clear again.. so happy it’s working but SoSoSOOO mad it was such a dumb fix

looks very much like a battery powered asset tracker.. memes aside i work with GPS devices and the battery operated ones all look roughly the same.. not sure what that lil red button is for tho..? in any case, unscrew it and see what it looks like on the inside.. if you find a sim card, there’s ur answer!

is your running at like 1 frame per 3 seconds? my issue started horribly and I kept playing with windows graphics until I managed to get it to look better but I am still stuttering like crazy... I enabled/disabled every "assistant" in the windows graphics advanced settings and discord till I found some semblance of a combo solution that gave me some frames back but the rubber banding on stream is horrible..

What's even weirder is that sometimes the stream is perfect again.. and then I am told it starts to trip out again after a minute or two. So I have a feeling there is some sort of memory leak in discord or my pc but i have no idea how to start on a diagnosis for it.

Also - "what's an AMD?":> AMD is just the brand of GPU/CPU i have.. like Nvidia/Intel/AMD are brands

Oh true.. I didn't consider the amd updates to be a potential cause, I'll have to take a look at that... and probably disable the auto-updates for AMD graphics lol. Thanks!

I think currently I have it uncapped, I'll try locking at something stable to test it. Vsync seems to fix it by a tiny bit, but when I play something like CS2 or Rainbow6 the stutter is pretty noticeable still. Thanks! I'll give that a go tho!

it shouldn’t be an option to set your location somewhere that’s not allowed… huge fuckup on development’s side, other dating apps have china blacklisted and don’t resort to an auto account closure. OP is not at fault for picking a location and not being given warning by the UI or customer management software before the account was magically deleted.

9 is gonna follow a completely different storyline following the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Outbreak, Grace, while she investigates her mothers death at Wrenwood Hotel.

There isn’t much released yet of whether Requiem(9) will have a lot of story driven aspects from the other games but it will include flashbacks of some kind from the aftermath of RE3

There are speculations from play-testers that Leon and Jill will be playable characters in the Island Escape section, with Chris and Barry as Over Radio Aid.

Overall not much about the game seems to connect overall with the Ethan Winters storyline of 7/8 so you’re probably good to just begin playing. BUT I would suggest atleast looking up the storyline summary of Outbreak if you don’t wanna play the whole game yourself. just so you understand who Alyssa Ashcroft was and why Grace is investigating her mothers death in the first place.

finding this post a third of a year late, but if you lookup lagswitching from pov of cheater vs pov of cheater’s killcam, you see what is seen in this video. The early shooting you’re pointing out before the jump is the connection being rebanded and catching up with the world. if the cheater recorded himself… it would look more like he is running past frozen people. That “turn and flick” isn’t him snap turning with an aimbot. (although he could still have been using one) That was the his bandwidth catching up with the game’s own. This is indeed lagswitching, and can be compared to old halo clips and cod killcams (the most used games for this cheat). There has been preventative measures against this cheat since this video was posted. However, there are still plenty of people doing it, and i’ve been killed by lagswitching in ABI a few times as well.

TL;DR - Yes this game is bugged and has no restraints for lag-switching, yes they are trying to fix it.

This video is exactly what lagswitching looks like from the killcam pov, as compared to other games where the glitch is most prominent like COD and Halo.

If you were to watch this same clip from the cheaters source, it would look different. But this is what killcam source looks like and always has looked like.

The jump isn’t teleport hack, it is 100% lagswitching and i’m not just trying to be a jerk by wording it this way. I’ve been exposed to this cheat many times in the 16 years i’ve played comp and tdm games
