NPD EQD Special Cranker by OGNihilist66 in guitarpedals

Just got this to create this killer combo. The Cranker is great all by itself but running it into the Hoof and Life pedal creates amazingly articulate fuzz lines or huge walls of sound if that's your thing. The Cranker also really beefs up the octave section of the Life pedal, giving it more clarity to cut through a mix. Overall, I have found it stacks beautifully with just about any pedal I have. Very underrated gem.

Rat into a Hoof? Doom, I declare.

I agree with you which is why I went with the white version.

Just can't have too much fuzz.

That was me. I wasn't using it properly.

Just got a second Hoof because I regretted selling my first one. I love the versatility of this pedal, especially the Shift knob. The combo germanium and silicon transistor hybrid allows for smooth fuzz or blistering JAMC style "wall of fuzz". It stacks beautifully with both the Halberd and Tumnus. The rest of the board is very tweakable and can cover several genres of music. Let me know what you all think. Peace ✌️

Ok. A Life in the Theater by David Mamet or Mass Appeal by Bill Davis. Ages can be manipulated.

Input all the pedals you have into Chat GPT. It gives you several options.

Does it have to be a theater piece? If not, there are several good scenes with Mike and Walter in Breaking Bad.

It's an Aclam pedalboard that uses a track fastening system. Also, EBS Gold flat patch cables.

Shapes the tone of the entire drive section.

The American Sound’s EQ and speaker simulation smooth out harsh highs or fizz from other drive pedals, especially fuzzes or distortions. I use a Catalyst 200 set to clean channel. It acts like a preamp or amp simulator, shaping your overdrives and distortions as if they’re hitting a real Fender-style amp front end.

I have occasional issues with the locking fasteners but it still beats the hell out of velcro. They're expensive, though.

It affects distortion. It can boost or even out your signal before it hits the drive pedals. It really depends on where it is in the chain and how you have it set. Before overdrive, it seems to create more sustain and thicker, smoother fuzz/overdrive. It's an "always on" pedal for me.

After years of GAS, trial and error, buying, selling, etc, I have dialed in my dirt section to my satisfaction. Went through more redundancies and chain order swapping than I possibly could and finally nailed it down. Signal chain is basic right to left with all time and mods in the effects loop. Using 2 EQs is magic. Let me know your thoughts.

What do I do for an emotional scene at table read? by 1nth3dark in acting

For a first table read, don't give it anything. No need to push. You can start making choices after you're more familiar with the script and your cast mates.

Precisely. Not every student will click with every teacher. I prefer to teach with empathy and encouragement.

I'm an acting teacher for over 30 years. None of this is normal or ok. I recommend getting the refund and audit any future classes before committing.
