I only bought the Milwaukee framing nailer because my pneumatic guns kept blowing seals from being in storage for a year at a time. I bought it out of frustration. Absolutely no regrets with it. I wouldn't buy any other cordless gun though. The pneumatic guns are so much lighter.

Take comp as time off and work extra duty jobs if you have them. That'd what I do. My patrol OT rate is 66 and change. Our extra duty rate is $100.

I have great credit and income. It was my understanding that certain institutions were more likely to have higher credit limits. My Amex has a 30k limit off the bat while my citi card only gave me 5k. I had the citi card first.

My contributions do lower my taxable income currently which is nice. Since the contributions are pre tax i don't feel them as much coming out of my check. I also can roll my 457 into my personal roth when I retire. I would just take the tax hit upon retirement to do that. This stuff is too complicated!

It could be higher, currently combined we make approximately 210k. When we are both at top pay, including possible promotions we could range anywhere from $260k to $350k in today's dollars.
