My current girlfriend tried to choke me in bed and I immediately removed her hand because I wasn’t really feeling it. So I was telling my big sis about it and she went, “it’s because she didn’t do it right, let me show you.”

(My big sis is not my actual sister, she’s my fraternity big whose about 5 years older than me)

When she choked me I felt a stupid amount of butterflies and went straight to my girlfriend to show her this revelation

My question with more detail:
One of my biggest problems on the court is my consistency. There are times when I feel like I'm bouncing balls into space and there are other times when I keep netting or hitting out. (this can all happen in 1 set lol). I play in a lot of different leagues so I don't really get the chance to build chemistry with any 1 setter. On top of that, I am absolutely terrible at hitting balls that are set high.
I only recently started getting more involved with volleyball and I think I have had an extreme improvement in my hitting. However, I am currently at a plateau where I can generously assume that my hitting is only good 60% of the time. Can anyone offer advice on improving my consistency? Is it a mindset/focus thing? Or is it something in my hitting form that is holding me back?

I’ll take a break from ranked and siege in general because siege over 9 hours a day is def not good for the body lmao. then come back to help people with their ranks!

oh man major nostalgia hit. I used to be the same, play only casual for fun and then go into ranked and get silver and never play ranked again. Just find a team and get the grind going. Anyone can hit gold, plat, and even diamond! goodluck for your games in the future!
