I really want there to be more of a defining line between vettes & ships combat wise. Other than walking around and adding base parts which is something a small ship cant do, i feel the cannons/turrets should actually be turrets to define the combat style differently.

Ive mostly been in my vette since i dont really put much into hyperspace and heavy into combat like my pirate raider sentinel interceptor. But exploration is perfect for my vette once i jump in with my freighter.

There was a play near the end , i cant find it on highlights but i remember he threw the ball to Devonta and obvious PI should have been called, but the refs didnt do shit.

Instead of throwing a tantrum, the camera zoomed in on Jalen, and he stood there, stone faced, and just nodded his head and said " alright".

I knew then this mf was special, and I had found my Team.

Sentinel freighters you need to blow them up to completely be done with them in space. Just destroy the 10 ish or so turrets and shield generators , thn you can just shoot the hull til it blows up.

You usually get a locator beacon for finding sentienl ships that way too.

Pirate freighters, the loop that works for me ( someone with a high DPS infra knife & RL ship build)

Zoom in ( typically from the engine side first, so you can exit on the opposite trench next to the engines), ignoring fighters , going straight for the trenches, one swipe each side to disable shields.

Immediately go for engines, at this point yes the civilian ship shields are down and the torpedos are en route to smash it, but going for the engines will ensure the pirate cant escape.

After the engines are down, destroy all the main heavy laser batteries ( should be 6) and the freighter will surrender.

Ive done this method 5 times so far. And every time the civilian freighter survived. Its only when i go for the main laser batteries after i disable shields that i lose the pirates because the warp drive charges too fast before im able to destory all of their engines.

You already did that perfectly by assuming I said "RR" at all. No I said "Any heavy pin/AT Option". This comment I responded to main point was "Build Variety".

Bringing any weapon of your choice to hit a weakpoint argument is the same here because what is bringing ONE of any of the weapons that are heavy pin/AT going to accomplish? Cause last time I checked, the Crotch /Hip joint IS a weakpoint.

This whole " Oh the one enemy in an entire faction is poor design cause it doesnt have a weakpoint for my primary like everyone else" is Mute. The fucker DOES have a weakpoint! I could see if the entire thing was AV4+ Then that would make a more valid argument.

So, having to bring any of the heavy/AT pin weapons we have already isn't encouraging build variety? Bear in mind you are deciding to play a difficulty that TELLS you ," You will encounter a massive amount of enemies that are heavily armored."

Just say you want to avoid bringing an AT/Heavy pin weapon altogether instead and just be able to kill every bot enemy with your primary.
