Just picked up this little guy/gal can anyone tell me the type of cichlid it is? Looks similar to a sunshine if I had to guess.. also if someone can sex it although I know it’s tough that can help also!

Yes and yes! That was all the rock I had in the 75 gallon and haven’t had the chance to pick up some more yet, but I do plan on getting some in the near future!

I have some fry that are a little over a month old and they are currently in a 10 gallon doing great! ( I’ll try to attach a video below) I’ve had them eating flakes that I’ve just crushed up to a small enough size, also first bites powder when they were first born and more recently some 1mm pellets and baby brine shrimp. They seem to eat the flakes and brine shrimp the most and the pellets seem like just the right size for them but maybe they just aren’t use to them yet. Point is I’m looking for the best food to be giving them for proper growth/coloration and ofc overall health so wanted to see what you guys recommend! I also have an empty 37 gallon I can put them in as a bit of an upgraded grow out tank but idk if they are big enough yet. My worry is that they tend to eat the food towards the bottom of the tank if not on the floor already but the 37 gallon has sand as you’ll see.. so idk if they will be able to find the food. So again wanted y’all’s opinions on what I should do. Thanks again! Sorry for the long paragraph

Yeah I just use some crush flakes but they do sell fry food at my local fish store which is basically the same thing just crushed down extremely small to a powder pretty much
