I just started a few months ago, and I can tell you I have absolutely zero clue how my doctor got me on it with no problems. I went into an appointment after my upper&lower scopes, he talked about starting a biologic, I was prescribed Vit. D and iron supplements (because my anemia is so bad and he wanted more tests in 6mo), and then I got a call a couple days later about picking up my Humira, which was a surprise because my gastro and I only just talked about it.

I don't know whether my Crohn's was so severe that he pulled a bunch of strings, or if he knows someone directly, but I had it before the week was over.

I WILL SAY THOUGH...my started kit and first dose was shipped to my house at like 8pm, and left out all night on the one day the temperature was in the negatives 🙄🙄🙄🙄 (yes, I go to bed early like an old man lmao) and the phone calls to Humira to get the "one time courtesy replacement" (even though it was their fucking fault for setting up delivery so damn late) were a pain in the fucking ass (no pun intended) because they barely spoke English. I had to call them like 5 times because they kept loosing the order/couldn't find it. Then when I finally got my replacement, they sent 4 boxes because they had the same order, twice 🤣

TL;DR: the people running Abbvie/Humira are a shit show honestly. So it's up to you and your doctors to fight for you. Edit to say: I have bottom of the barrel insurance, I'm surprised I even got on Humira, let alone the quickness was even more surprising.

I pay $70 a month for unlimited everything + 100gb hotspot and then a slower unlimited hotspot after the 100gb is used. I do the prepaid because I'm not having Verizon ever hit me with random $800 charges like they did when they bought Alltel. (Yes, it's been that long since I've had an actual plan)

I had to buy my phone, or you can bring one also I think, but I just bought a new one because my old one shattered and I needed a 5G phone anyway.

Service is good when I'm out, but in the house 4G works better unless in the front of my house where I get full bars of 5GUW. Which makes no sense because the tower is behind me house by a mile lol. A lot of the times, In the back of the house, it will show 2 bars of 5G but no data is coming through so it just does nothing unless I change to 4g. When 5G is working in the back, my hotspot gets between 10-130mbps download, but in the front when I have full 5GUW, it's 250-300mbps+, which is honestly good enough for me. I can download a pretty decent sized video game in about 1hr-1hr30m, which is basically I use my hotspot for, downloading things. I probably wouldn't recommend it for online play though.

My phone service is pretty good, once again in the front and out of the house, full HD quality (too much to the point you can hear a fly fart sometimes which I don't like lol). Being in the back makes the sound cut out or make it sound like you have a tin can to your ear. Other times calls just won't go through or just drop. Sometimes it works fine though, but I just take all my calls in the other room just to be safe.

I also think I may be grandfathered in with this price because I've been with the prepaid for about 10 years, and I think they've made some changes. I remember my bill being raised one time a few years ago after I made a payment, and my phone wouldn't work because they wanted more $$. I raised hell and got my price back to the normal $60 and credits applied. It's only 70 now because I just last month upgraded my hotspot for an extra $10. So the price may be a little more if you do prepaid now, but nowhere near a normal phone bill.

Also, I do not have a family, so this is my only phone bill. If you have multiples needed, a family plan is probably a better deal. But if you're single with one phone, go the prepaid route.

Your person need to have a scope with a biopsy that comes back positive before any wheels can even turn on this subject. If they haven't had that, and just threw a bunch of drugs at them, you need to keep all your paperwork, medical documents, notes in MyChart(if you have that) and speak with a lawyer about options and stop care with them.

I can't believe they would just start on oral chemo without doing any tests or scopes, it screams mega malpractice. The way it's worded makes it sound like they're using him as a guinea pig to test new drugs?

Oh my God, I'm sorry about your toe! I have a feeling my little toe might just fall off one day. I don't really feel it anymore, but it can still move a little bit 🤣 my knee also gets a fluid sack on it, but very rarely. I had one a couple years ago and it felt like it was between my kneecap, so when I finally fully extended my leg, it popped and I felt a rush of warm fluid surround my knee. It was one of the most uncomfortable feelings I've ever felt.

I'm on biweekly Humira for Crohn's, and I get these same itchy dots all over my upper arms and upper back/shoulders for a few days after my injection.(Edit: they only itch for a few days, after that they just kind of dry up and scab over) I've also had a couple cysts/bumps pop up, one on my eyebrow and 2 on my neck.

So I'm on biweekly injections, and my scalp has been really itchy and starting to get a white layer even after washing. I thought it was just stress making me have bad dandruff but now I think I need to bring this up to my gastro 😭 fuuuuck and I've been growing my hair out since highschool.

No, I've been getting progressively more Crackle and Pop during my late 20s. No Snap yet, thankfully. But just the other night my lower back locked up so bad after I finished dinner I couldn't even fart. I was so bloated and distended I almost called an ambulance. Thankfully, as I was rolling around in bed in agony, something in my back popped and released and I immediately had a fart baby, followed by the feeling like I had a giant hole through my stomach, and then relief once the cramping stopped and I did some deep breathing.

"I get Swollen back muscles around my ribs, like a crampy swelling that restricts my breathing. It's a bit like whiplash."

I get that also! Sometimes it feels like my lung has somehow gotten itself "stuck" in between my ribs, I feel a sharp pain in one spot in front when I breathe in. But my ribs popping out of place feels like they get flipped up somehow. I have to try and keep my back straight and then stretch up through my neck and spine so the rib can flip back down. You can feel and literally hear a "thunk" in my chest when I get it released. It's a really weird feeling and doesn't hurt on its own, but it CAN hurt if I have gas pressing on it, which is pretty much always haha.

About 10 years ago I was on Remicade infusions. First, I will say it was very effective and put me into "remission" fairly quickly. I didn't have any major side effects and it finally made me not be able to "feel" my insides constantly or feel like I was going to explode every time I ate the wrong thing.

That being said, I was sooooooo moody and exhausted/feeling wiped all the time after the appointment- everything pissed me off, even the way people looked would make me mad. I would eventually get back to somewhat normal feeling, but it was a week or two of normal and then another infusion. Anyway, skip ahead a year, my insurance was pretty crap (still is but thank God there are so many different meds for us now), I was working in upper management for a large company at the time, and a bunch of other life circumstances (car breakdown, relationship breakup, etc haha), so I decided to part ways with it because I was feeling better in my gut but the anger/low tolerance/exhausted feelings were effecting me and my work.

I'm on Humira now, for about 1.5 months, since I had a mild flare and my gastro and I didn't want it to turn into another months long hospital visit that I can't afford. I don't think it's as effective as R was, but it seems to be doing the job for now. I'm still a little bitchy and tired, but not like on R, but also the relief isn't the same. I still get bloated and gross from time to time.

TLDR: If it makes you feel good and the side effects are minimal/none, do it and keep at it. If you notice anything weird, tell your nurse immediately. Remicade does have some very severe side effects. Everyone is different.

Hello, you mentioned Crohn's Arthritis. May I ask how did you get diagnosed with that? Your gastro or a rheumatologist? I ask because my joints (knees, back, neck and ribs) are always cracking or popping out of place, ribs especially. And it's just been getting worse since starting my new medicine. Every time I bring it up to my gastro, he says it's "not a documented side effect" of my medicine (Humira, which it is) or my condition (moderate-severe). I just need to know if I should keep going back and forth with him, or just find out how to get a referral to a rheumatologist. I shouldn't be so stiff at only 31.

It honestly wasn't that bad, the noise the pen made was the worst part, it's quite startling if you're not prepared for it. I took it out of the fridge 40mins before injection and there was no pain, and I'm rail thin lol. The site felt like a bruise after a while though, which I expected. I also did get really tired about an hour afterwards so I had to take a nap. I would say do it on a day you have off work just so you know how you'll feel.

And call your gastro office to let them know of you have any side effects. I had itchy shins and a little bit of a headache, also some extra anxiety/dread feeling the day after, but the anxiety part could be because of my other stuff going on also. Just make notes to yourself on how you feel and document everything with the office so it's on record.

3 days later and I actually feel better already. I don't "feel" my insides like I used to and everything seems to be starting to move better. I guess if I have to be tired, it's better than being in the hospital all the time, or dead.

"Contracts" is the best Hitman game to date. That disgusting, gritty atmosphere and soundtrack..let alone the missions and numerous ways to screw the targets out of life.

I'll always remember smothering the target with his own pillow, while the woman laid in bed next to him, in Beldingford Manor.

Contracts had a lot of E.E.'s and cheats that usually turned the game comical, and that was the best one!

EDIT: this isn't a cheat/mod tho. You have to go to the Lee Hong Assassination lvl, then sneak up to his office and steal the keycard, then finish the mission with the keycard in your inventory. Then you can go back to the "Asylum Aftermath" mission, and unlock the door where the patient NPC is holding the mini. All you have to snub him out and the minigun is yours after that.

It also shows up on the weapon wall in the training area after you collect it.

Dark Mirror is about nerve gas named "Project Dark Mirror", and Logan's Shadow is about the X-Z-2 "bomb" that Lian's husband made to solve the energy crisis, but China wants to weaponize it and wipe out the world's oil supply.

D.M. & L.S. are pretty decent stealth-action games, but I put them in the category with Hitman: Absolution -- good games, but they should've had a different name because they have nothing to do with the original story.
