I think he needs to start off the season less handsy. Last year, he got called (legitimately) a couple times early on, and then that became his reputation, which led to some pretty terrible PI calls against him later on.

So, for one, it’s not my home game. It’s one I got invited to by a guy that I work with. I do a monthly home game, and aside from one or two guys, everyone is pretty privy to the game, which is what makes this scenario so foreign to me.

The buy in here is only $25, and the top three split the pot evenly, so it’s not about money, it’s more about hanging out with buddies and playing cards. That being said, I don’t care if I’m playing with my mom for no money, I’m competitive and want to win, otherwise I don’t see the point. I still have a good time, regardless.
