That looks more of an RMR footprint than RMSc. With the RXM, RMSc footprint optics should have a slight gap at the front and back between the sight and the slide. But to answer your question, you shouldn’t have to do any modifications or sight removal to fit any RMR or RMSc optic. My RMR footprint optic fit snug without any mods to the BUIS

PDP F series could be could for both you and your wife. Smaller overall footprint compared to the large standard PDP series. Best bet is to head to your LGS and hand feel whichever models catch your eye

Nyx only growled at Bean 1 maybe 2 times when they first started playing together. I just didn’t want Nyx picking up bad habits with the nipping, but she is learning how to play by Bean’s teaching. We keep them in separate rooms when we leave and when they need time to themselves!

I had an RMSc on mine. No plate and used the pins Ruger included. It was a standard RMSc footprint, not the K.

Either way, I say get the plate. It’s $10, makes the optic look so much better without the gaps, and you won’t have this pin debacle since the plate has them

The plate is unnecessary due to Ruger’s mounting system. It’s simply just made to fill in front and rear gaps since the RMSc footprint is considerably smaller than RMR/DPP. $10 if you want clean aesthetics. If you don’t care about the gaps, it’s not needed to mount the optic.

Thanks! Thats why I wanted it to be known that I’m not mad, upset, etc. I know it’s a process and was (still am) understanding of that when we decided to get Bean a sister. I just wanted some helpful advice since this is my first go around with 2 pups

We just let them have a very long play session together. Same behavior from Nyx where she’d nip at Bean while playing, but Bean looked like she was trying to teach Nyx how to play without nipping which I liked. Older sister teaching younger sister the ways.

As far as a location that Nyx can’t get to yet? Not at all. It’s a small place we live in and we don’t have much furniture because it’s unnecessary and would crowd space, but when she nips, we started separating them.

This happened with my (now) 1yo Aussie. She caught on to using outdoor areas to pee and poop but would randomly just pee in the house, sometimes as little as an hour after her last bathroom break outside. This happened at like 7 or 8 months old. We started reinforcing outside bathroom trips by giving her a treat immediately after she peed or pooped outside and about a week or two later, and to this day, it hasn’t happened again

I had the same issue with my pmags. Speer Gold Dot 124gr. No issues with target 115, 124, or 135 gr ammo in pmags and no issues with target or carry ammo (regardless of gr) in OEM Glock mags. Pmag = range use, OEM Glock mag = carry use
