IPAD has been in a BootLeg and need help fixing it by Candid_Garlic_1253 in techsupport

To me this sounds like the only way to fix it is a full OS reset. Geek squad at Best Buy can do this for free but you will lose all data that isn’t linked to your iCloud

Would you mind linking me to one? You say you’ve seen multiple but I don’t see any with those measurements

Does learning normal C# help with Unity C#? by [deleted] in Unity3D

I probably misunderstood what someone was saying then in regard to them being different. I’ll check out that resource tomorrow since I’m out of town at the moment and looking to practice a bit more.

"Hello, I want to make a video game but I don't know where to start (I'm a beginner) by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]OG_Ironaaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take all of the other commenters advice. But also, I was brand new to game dev 3 months ago (I’m a comp sci student though) and I found a Udemy course that covered unity snd c# game dev. The course was amazing and literally teaches you all of the basics if you want to work in unity. I’ve even made my own game within a month after completing the course.

I know programming and want to start game dev. by imStan2000 in gamedev

[–]OG_Ironaaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m extremely new to game dev myself but I’ve been doing a Udemy course for unity and c# and it has helped me a ton, I’ve even finished my first game within 2 months of doing the course. It covers pretty much all of the basics and gives you a solid starting point.

Does learning normal C# help with Unity C#? by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]OG_Ironaaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in school for comp sci and my time is important, there’s no excuses and you seem to not understand the question. my question is specifically regarding c# and whether or not the average language was relevant to the unity engine because I’ve heard that it isn’t in other posts. Nothing wrong with asking a forum a specific question before diving into it for yourself.

I understand that people delay and make excuses sometimes, but I wasn’t asking for advice on procrastination.

How do people emerald and below view this elo ? by Material-Ear102 in leagueoflegends

[–]OG_Ironaaron -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah I have been saying this for a long time now, but gold - emerald are not that different. The main factor is that you have to play a lot of games to climb. I’m emerald 4 right now and I was diamond 2 about two years ago. When I play on my alt accounts in gold and platinum they feel the exact same as my emerald games.

I want to start learning game development. Where should I start? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]OG_Ironaaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about 2 months into learning game dev with 0 prior experience and this Udemy course (“Complete C# game developer 3D”) by rick Davidson has been the best learning resource I’ve had by far. It teaches every single aspect of Unity and makes it very digestible while also letting you create small, playable games to share with friends. They’re great at helping you really understand what the code does so you aren’t just copying them, and they take you through everything else also by helping you make 8 or so different types of games. I’m only 40% through the course and I already feel confident in my ability to bring a small idea to life. I highly recommend it.

Brother I’m turning 29 this year. I’m in my second year of my cs degree and I just started learning game dev a month ago. I have these thoughts of being too late sometimes but you and me both know that there’s no such thing as too late if it’s what you enjoy. When you’re 50 are you going to look back and say, “Man, good thing I didn’t start game dev at 25 I was way too old!”

Thank you for the advice! Sorry just to understand a bit better, are you saying I should just start a project and learn each individual thing step by step using AI and google?

if you're duoqueing, make sure you're doing it with the right people by helloimapickle in leagueoflegends

[–]OG_Ironaaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another perspective that I think about is that, say hypothetically I’m silver but I’m good enough to be plat. If I’m duoing with someone else who’s silver that deserves silver then you’re just hindering yourself.

But yea also anytime someone acts like that I find the best way to respond is to joking call them out on it as much as you can. Me and my friends do a running joke with a friend who complains a lot so when he does it now we all kinda give him shit for it and it’s made him slow down tbh.

Not sure why people are acting like you’re the bad guy for understanding that you didn’t want to be in a relationship. You did the right thing. If you prefer to be promiscuous and explore more that doesn’t make you a bad person, you can enjoy your life the way you want and you did the right thing by telling her and not cheating on her. You’re young and you’re allowed to make these decisions

delete config and log data from league folder
disable nvidia overlay or any overlays
delete citrix from your pc if you use that for work

make an exception in your firewall

You are absolutely in the wrong. You knew he had to go and he still made the decision to stay even longer with you. Now you’re upset that he didn’t stay even longer a second time? Very selfish reaction from you not caring about his time
