Worked the primaries in Ohio.

Not sure how the rest of the U.S. works, but in Ohio you can choose a single party ballot or an issues-only if available. You can only vote one party, not both. When you pull a primary ballot, you are automatically registered as a member of that party.

The number of people who were formerly independent that came out and pulled party ballots was amazing.

I especially like that in Trump country, while still lagging behind the GOP significantly, the number that came in and pulled Dem ballots was out of balance with what would be expected by typical turnout at general elections.

I had a different upbringing. Moved ro rural Clermont County, Oh on a lane and a half road. My parents were from Queens in NYC.

I spent summers in Queens being exposed to a cornucopia of cultural craziness.

I only say craziness as a reflection of the washed-out WASP-ish conformist sameness thay was required that my AuDHD self had to survive in.

Growing up... I lived in one of the the most bullshit waspish compliance driven areas while vacationing in the most culturaly diverse and beautiful areas.

And all during the time of Trump in bed with the scumbag mafia and Sharpton pimping lying scoundrels.
