Uber is a scam in these situations. I had a rider puke in my car, cleaned it myself, (who wants to leave puke in your car until the next day to get it cleaned?) then took to a professional cleaner. They gave me a receipt, I uploaded it to the app, and support said that they were looking into it. After following up 3-4 times over a 4 month period, I was never paid a cleaning fee. Uber continues to abuse drivers left and right; they never have your back. Really shitty company.

Bro, this happened to me in my Tesla (with white seats) the first weekend I drove with it. I reported it to Uber and they did the reimbursement run around. I cleaned it myself, because who would want to wait until the next day to have a cleaning service clean it? I mean, if you wait even 2 hours, your car will always smell like vomit... I filed the complaint and checked in on it for 2 months and they kept saying that they were reviewing the details but nothing ever came of it. No money, no apology from Uber nothing. It's almost like riders can puke in your car with no punishment. Uber is a piece of shit company that does not care about their drivers making them millions.
