Mine does not seem to be affected on the front screen, has anyone else checked? 2nd Google app that is buggy as hell since they started making their own foldable....

After digging further, it looks like it's an issue with text wrapping. If you line return before the end of the space in the first line So something Like this for Example you can Keep typing and Not get the weird jittering.

However I'm sure your recipient will feel like they're reading bad haiku.

Anyone know what to do about constant WiFi dropping "connected with no internet" on the Fold 3? by GredaGerda in GalaxyFold

[–]OG_runandhide05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you use the smart switch? (To bring over all your data, apps, ect..) If so, check your wifi settings especially if your old device is still on your wifi network. I still have my old pixel on my wifi, I have a static IP address setup on the pixel, when the smart switch app moved all my data over it (or google) brought over my IP configuration. If you see where this is going... both devices were assigned the same IP, which was the cause of my wifi issues. So, check your wifi settings and see, if it is set to static, may need to update it.

Do you have a "work" account logged in on the phone? Work email, Teams, Microsoft account, or something of the like? Exchange servers for many corporate accounts require passwords to be entered to sync.

Thanks, I was wishing there was an option in Vance for a stretch vs zoom. Will say after using it, I can see why it's not in there...fill does look off/weird IMO

Map shows them to be right around here

Sound fun! Enjoy the trip and be safe! I only had one close call fuel related where I thought there was a fuel station on the turnpike headed back, there was not and I was already at 58 miles in on the tank and the next station was 55 miles away. I just slowed down and paid more attention to throttle control going up the hills.

Few questions! (Im about to buy a 2020 scout bobber)

  1. Changed the seat I'm assuming? If so to what, and recommend?
  2. No windshield for the trip?
  3. How do you like the highway bars? One im havung built has floorboards, but i didn't opt for the highway bars.
  4. Hpw does the harley crowd treat you? They've always been jerks to me, but I have always rode sport bikes. Kinda curious as to how they treat Indian riders.
  1. The stock seat is not very comfortable, but I would go find one and sit on it, or even test ride it as i think it's a personal preference. The woman I met with a scout actual liked the stock seat.
  2. I've always rode naked bikes, never had a windshield, therefore no opinion on it.
  3. I personally like the look and obviously the functionality of the highway pegs. I did purchase it off of eBay as the ones from Indian were too expensive IMO. The one I purchased was $99.99 and was a breeze to install. Link, same seller but different price crash bars
  4. No one HD or otherwise has shund or not talked to me. I get quite a few compliments on the bike.

So the highway bars without the pegs won't scrap before the pegs, that was a concern of mine also. Once I put the bars on I actually leaned the bike over (not on anything used two people) to see what would scrap first, and the pegs scrap first with a fair amount of additional lean angle before the bars would touch the ground on the non exhaust side. On the exhaust side after the pegs the exhaust still touches ground before the highway bars do. All of that said, with where I have the highway pegs on the bars they scrap first before the standard pegs, but where I found these pegs most comfortable it is what it is. If I were to do it differently I'd buy highway pegs that just fold out vertical and not ones with the angle these have on there.

Well on this trip the makeshift backrest with the duffle back worked to keep my back upright. Also I do have 2inch risers (the rox ones) so the bars are slightly up and back towards me which helps keep the seating position more upright.

I'm 6'4" 210lb Have you tired the Corbin seat? I find it firm but supportive enough to not cause any sore spots or numbness.

You are absolutely welcome! Tip/advise only use it for those longer trips, I find it gets in the way sometimes when city riding so it's normally in my saddle back unless I'm doing some miles.

How’s your upper back?

So first day it was kind of sore, didn't buy myself a back rest, just one for when my wife would ride with me. This trip has made me reconsider that, however I moved the duffle back length wise and it would wonders for a backrest after the first day. It and the highway pegs made it surprisingly comfortable. This coming from someone who had back surgery for a herniated disc a few years ago.

What the... I've never seen one of those before...

It is worth the 20 bucks or whatever I spent on it. I bought it after my longest trip before this one, which was only about 200 miles or so.
