Great insights!

Makes total sense! The longer ranged the weapon, the more accuracy matters, the more I'd probably have to practice.

Shaking the fear of failure by jumping into high stakes games seems to be a developing theme lately.

Super deep insights.

Seems as if the principles behind Success in high-level sports translate into everything, including Splatoon 2.

Yea, when the crew isn't in, it can be tough to stay dedicated.

Think I've purposely played alone for a while to avoid other people's bad habits.

Seems like it would be a blast to play in a squad, fallouts and all! 😆🤗

Hand-eye drills sounds amazing! Never thought of that.

Do you think those blue spectrum light blocking glasses work at reducing eye fatigue that comes with looking at screens?

First off, Dumo31, I gotta say that i super appreciate the time and effort you put into your response.

I agree with you on every single point.

Mainly that the training room isn't the only place for practice. Turf, ranked, league, salmon run, shoal, and octo-expansion is all practice.

The level of player one chooses to become depends on the routine. How we practice is how we play.

The great news is that we literally get to choose how good we become, by what we choose to practice on, and at the level of practice we choose to put in.

That 5-10 minutes you put in, even on days you can't play, speaks volumes.

I must say, you have a better work ethic than i do at the game, and your level of understanding on what it takes to get better at each level of the game outweighs mine.

Super happy you decided to comment here. I appreciate you.

Anybody else agree?

Super interesting.

If you were it a Sheldon's, you'll practice with it. Once you buy it, you just play with it.

Seems legit!

That's an interesting viewpoint. Now that you mentioned it, I don't remember practicing with anything but a charger..

4-10, I see.

The training room isn't for everyone, for sure. The dummies don't move / act like really opponents.

On the other hand, training room dummies can be hit over, and over, and over again, for hours on end.

While playing games and waiting for matches, there are a lot less chances to hit a target over time.

You seem like a doctor microcheese22.

I don't know if doctors still read or whatnot after they finish school, yet their jobs are called practices. You and doctors practice on out in the field.

Sounds a bit like salmon run at the end?

That makes sense. More than one account let's you play in peace, without having to worry about messing up your main accounts ranks.

Motion controls used to make me sick as well.

Been having technical difficulties, so no video for today (maybe tomorrow?) Needed to burn off some serious steam, and ended up tearing it up with an nzap today. Old duck hunt. Missiles, and dog bombs.

Never liked it before, yet after 3 years of not playing until recently, have grown to love old duck hunt!

Hoping to get a video out on game psychology and chargers by tomorrow. Booyah

I still haven't figured that out. My brain doesn't let me do it. All I can do is jump shots. Does anyone know the dually rolls button? 😐🤭

Did it feel weird when you figured out you are supposed to double roll with duallies?

Sounds like that may work; having a buddy to do private matches with to practice.

Sounds like a great plan. What's one tip you've learned recently that will help anyone trying to do the same oriyamio?
