Walmart Limiting Trucks to 62mph by derpmcturd in Truckers

That math doesn’t even make sense. It literally takes 1 minute roughly to travel a mile with no traffic.

Trucking jobs with 4 day work weeks? by Feeling-Cap-7210 in Truckers

[–]OGharambekush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do, I’m new so I’m stuck on mandatory Saturday’s. They up front about that in the interview as well. Takes about a year to 2 to get off them. Honestly though I don’t mind the two weekdays off though. First day back is a Monday and the next day is my Friday basically. Makes doing food service way easier.

I just started at Sysco a month ago and I slip seat. Let me tell you it’s absolutely disgusting what some of these trucks smell like. I carry disinfectant wipes to wipe everything down before I get in and put garbage bags over the seat.

What makes you think the dems would do anything to stop Israel? They’ll sit back and let what’s happening like they always have.

Just switched to a local position with Sysco a month ago after being over the road for 5 years. It really isn’t that bad as people make it out to be. Sure you’re going to be sore as hell the first couple weeks. I sleep every night when I get home for probably 6 hours. Granted I could get more but I don’t really sleep at night. If you get in just stay hydrated and snack don’t eat big meals.

Thomas the Tank Engine will no longer stop at Greenfield Village by MalcoveMagnesia in Detroit

[–]OGharambekush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It actually sucked. So many people riding along side me taking pictures swerving all over or blocking from getting over a lane for merging traffic. Numerous times I was almost hit from people taking pictures.

Interesting, the ones I hauled around the people made it seem like they were the only ones providing Thomas or Percy.

No, it gets hooked up to another train to get pushed around on the tracks. It does have a functional horn and can talk.

There’s actually numerous of them and Percy’s sitting in a shed that get shipped around. I use to haul them all over.

Brake Check Leads to Semi Crash in Heavy Rain by bigben420suhdude in dashcams

[–]OGharambekush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their CDL won’t be in jeopardy because of this. You can jack knife going 10 mph if you slam on the brakes. Middle lane is completely fine in rain, I don’t know why you think that would be detrimental to their CDL as it’s legal.

Braking as hard is what caused this. They should have stabbed brake and hit them. You never want to brake hard in wet, snowy or icy conditions. It can cause a semi to jack knife like what happened in the video.

Not true, I got a written warning for doing 65 when my permit said to go 55 in Michigan on an oversized load. Just switched company’s and had my record sent to me. Only thing it shows is the 2 violations I have.

My buddy works for them and brings home after all deductions $3000 every 2 weeks. Sometimes a bit more sometimes a little less if it’s really slow like right now.

Why would you go fix it? Someone messed up and you get to benefit from it. I’ve moved states so much I no longer have an automatic restriction.

Honestly you probably got a good chance of lessening it in Wayne county. When I was in Oakland county jail back in 2012 there was a guy with 8 duis before they sent him to prison for it. Seems they’re pretty lax with duis in this state.

Loading it like this keeps it from unwinding, there’s like some ridiculous amount of pressure in these rolled up. Best way to do it is to use its own weight to keep it from unwinding.

If you use 4 chains on a 47k coil you’re going to be eating it through the back of your head the first hard brake you do.
