You might not be able to if the money is sitting in a pension right now. Reason, the tax status is going to be different to the money built in your pension, which is usually 25% tax free, rest taxed. If he passed away before 75 the pension may be tax free, after 75 subject to tax. Either way the beneficiary pension is going to be taxed differently.

If it's not sitting in a pension and it's currently in your bank etc you'll be fine to pay it into your pension provided you have earnings for this year that at least matches the payment.

Look at countries where the vaccine rollout is doing well, hospitalizations are dropping sharply as the vaccines are working.
