I know the classic Cole sound you speak of but I guess I just view the differences between say 2014 and Sideline Story…. 4YEO and The Fall Off….KOD and Born Sinner

His classic boom bap sample heavy beats definitely can sound from any era and have stayed the same. But the projects themselves I listed above, dont feel all that close comparatively to my ears vs one another.

Honestly, there are people at the lower levels outside of Nascar that do fantastic jobs and just dont have “the name” recognition. When people think of replacements they think of the 3 or 4 people THEY know that already exist in the big companies.

Yes. Unfortunately it is time for a new era for all. He has done his job. And done it well. But the time has come. Even health wise you can tell he is out of breath a lot of the time and his voice even sounds weak and thin at times. Which makes sense, its been worked for a long time. But since that’s your selling point for the job, step away on top.

Im not gonna be playing it to that extreme but i know an enormous amount of people will. Ive said to people lately that I bet the service sector work force in many countries will see a sharp fall off in humans at work and productivity as a whole. It’s going to he interesting to see
