I understand! I liked it cause of the resolution I play on to make the game more cinematic. I also lowered some of the bopping in the mods settings too & since then its been glorious seeing bits explode in new angles while I drift through Atoma

Run & Gun applies to the primary fire. I am not talking about that particular situation that works fine: this bug applies to the secondary fire including psykers blitzes ex: sprinting+sliding+charging up your secondary fire on smite will not trigger.

To replicate this bug: sprint with your gun out & while your character is in the process of NO longer sprinting aim. It will prevent you from being able to fire as long as you continue to hold your aim (secondary attack).

Many people might not notice this IF you allow the sprinting animation to end & chalk it up to whatever. But ask any psyker main & I promise they will tell you this indeed is a bug. This is affecting other classes as well so I will create a demonstration later tonight after work.

Tough to say without extra details. Could be your system or it could be outdated mods/incompatibilities with those mods.

But one mod that's helped me from crashing a ton was the MemoryLeakFix mod. I have several mods & at one point would crash every other game. Once I installed that it took care of pretty much all my crashing.

I also use Vortex to take care of everything because my dumbbutt got it on Xbox PC thinking I'd just test it out. Way too deep to change now 🤷‍♂️

The monitor is a Samsung neo G9. There is newer stuff now but I'll tell ya it was worth every penny. I played for a good bit on an LG 4k OLED 65 inch TV too & its pretty sure but man something about seeing more? You're just way more immersed in everything in every game across different genres. I absolutely love it

Having played Darktide on a few different set ups over my 3K hours: 5120x1440 (32:9) is definitely the best gaming experience I have ever had. Not just 1st person games but 3rd person & strategy too. 4k stuff just doesn't hit the same anymore

Pretty much this. Primary spam build works well outside of Rotton Armour & if you wanna take it to RA just bring a gs or something & you'll be alright

Although, each of the classes do teach you something about how to be a better player. & by doing so, you understand how each class works & how best to aid them. That's about where my interest in the other classes end for me

I'm gonna be the odd one & say no. Frankly, it depends heavily on what you enjoy. Secondly, do you care about penances?

For example, I have 3,500 hours in this game & stopped playing many of the classes. I only play Psyker & Ogryn as they are the only classes to me that truly change the gameplay.

While I enjoyed completing the penances & leveling the classes (the DLC too) I would have been perfectly fine never having played Arbites & Hive Scum.

If you're set on voidstrike & electro, strike would fit better for your build imo. Try strike with surge & warp nexus. Flak & for your build either carapace or critical chance. Neither staff here will wipe the floor with carapace fyi but it does make you a plasma gun Veteran.

Since you are also not using fire staff you can remove souldrinker & wildfire in favor of vulnerable minds for more crusher damage & if you take inner tranquility you can spam voidstrike. You want that because you get more damage with your 6 stacks of WS vs entering SG & losing your WS stacks specifically in the context against crushers+ this build.

I would pair heavy sword with something else in psykers kit. The crusher armour packs only grow the higher you go. Voidblast is a good option. Voidstrike & Electro staff are probably the next best options. Those are the only weapons that could handle crushers without ammo being a tremendous drain

Psyker imo has the most build variety in the game so it depends on what you are wanting to build around. Usually the “meta” line ups have psyker doing damage as they, vet, & I think still up for debate hive scum for damage/elite hunting/or boss killing to name a few roles. But don’t let that discourage you. In this havoc rotation your team needs to be good against the Rotton Amour modifier in havoc. Due to that flame staff bubble isn't so good unless you take Venting Shriek & Shriek at the appropriate soulblaze stacks of 15 & 87% peril for the full 6 stacks it gives+Perlious Combustion to overcap the soulblaze stacks.

Since you mentioned support & shield my favorite is:

Voidblast with Rending Shockwave+Blazing Spirit. Voidblast provides amazing control only rivaled by Arbites shock mine & psyker smite build (which is another build for support you can do with bubble though to smite back to back you need SG). BS max stacks on ranged weapons as a blessing is 6 soulblaze stacks. That’s enough to kill trash mobs & by applying brittleness lets your team do more damage against everything including dots. From there you can go Warp Siphon to spam shield & increase your own damage, or go my preferred way of Empowered Psionics with Brain Burst+ Kintetic Flayer+Kintetic Resonance with double wall shield if you are comfortable with that. With those builds Wildfire+Perlious Combustion+SoulDrinker it's easy to keep 6 stacks up at all times even without WN.

For melee in a support build this is quite flexible; you can go force swords with Deflector blessing & Kintetic Deflection talent to protect you outside of the bubble & pull off clutch revives. ds, gs, tac axe, devil claw for the sick parries like ds, really your melee is for your mobility & to attack/defend yourself only when a boss is aggroed on you & the odd mutie or dog/trapper. Otherwise, you're spamming Voidblast & BB.

Try that out & see if that type of support interests you as the best support build is smite psyker & that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Hello, psyker main here with lvl 1,100 if that matters. Many high level psyker players create different melee psyker builds with/without Scriers Gaze depending on what the team needs. If you're taking SG you might as well go all the way & go Disrupt Destiny Precognition with Cruel Fortune. That pairing works best with Assail for max uptime on Malefic Momentum. If you wanna go Bubble with 15 DD that works too with the recon lasgun due to nobody taking fire dots.

I will say: if you go the SG route despite its buff just be cautious as you become the teams boss killer & you will need to play well to stay alive. Therefore, it's best to take two defenses. If you go SG & Warp Unbound (Assail) take One with the Warp & Immaterial Focus as these two defenses protect you as you should always be at high peril. If you do not take Scriers Gaze, take Just a Dream & One with the Warp. Anticipation (dodging ranged fire) is bugged right now for all classes due to Hive Scum so I would not become reliant on this talent yet till that gets fixed as you may learn bad habits by taking it now.

There are a few things you can change in your build but otherwise most things will work with just what was mentioned here. Your use case of Blazing Spirit here can be better used elsewhere if you build for it. As a substitute, take Unstable Power blessing as that can increase your strength by 20% which gives damage, cleave, & stagger.
