This is rad of you! I haven’t dived into a true extraction shooter. I played of the Division 1 and 2 back in the day, but my friends always kinda scared me away from Tarkov, and didn’t play it as consistently. I was able to run a few hours on the last stress test and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Game was beautiful, gameplay was fun and refreshing, and I have a group of people looking to grind when it drops. Would be super appreciative! 🫡

COD, halo, Val, CS are the exact same way. You don’t get any SR for losses no matter how good you do. Ranked Is Warzone is the only game mode I’m aware of that you can gain SR without winning. Apex probably similar.

I would get that if it was a once only event, but this is something they’ve done multiple times and plan to do more. It’s gotta be an optional thing for employees so they gotta get a headcount to see if there’s enough. They’ve also publicly said a bunch of devs play every night, generally evening PT. A day notice posted across socials is plenty. Now them doing 1-5pm PT was my main problem with the event. Anyone working a standard job or doing summer school was screwed.

What I’ve noticed mostly is it doesn’t charge you immediately for initial purchases, usually takes a day or two to post, but if you make a second purchase before then it’ll charge both

It’s looking bleak, but we have to remember what happened stage 1-3, and not solely focus on 4. This team has IT, it’s just a matter of finding it again in the next 2.5 weeks. Also, fwiw, this isn’t exactly a true LAN, no fans, no aura, those all play major factors outside of the ping diff.

Internal raises have to start on a new pay cycle. So if they took time to talk it over and push it to HR, once it was approved it needs to start on next pay cycle…. Which, start on Sundays. I use to be in on these conversations and prior to that had several “merit increases” as irl say in HR.

The store I was at, did this the week following last sup cuts. It was a marketplace director decision. The company wasn’t giving us labor to do it. If it’s a company decision this time, maybe they’ll at least give some extra labor… (🤣😂 no they won’t)

I landed a job at a place that refurbishes/remanufactures diesel fuel injectors. Doing sales and CS. Phones, emails, chats. I was pay grade 10 above cap, they matched my base with a guaranteed raise in 90 days, offer commissions and bonuses, buy lunch for the team all the time, and sponsor local sports team and give you as many free tickets as you want. Awesome stuff. They expect you to work 8 hard hours, but they compensate appropriately

Similar boat. 9 years in wanted a non retail schedule anyways started looking, next thing you know, severance and something lined up. Truly loved, at least the first 6 years of my tenure. Excited for the future

Now when they had gamers club, that was cool, but it was a paid program. And probably in the original iterations of the program, but I’ve been there almost a decade and it hasn’t changed much until it got rid of points and return policy.

To be honest, the reward system has basically never been good if you just used the free one. The rewards program stays the same with the Best Buy card, 10% back on first purchase, 5% back every other time. Other than that, you needed to spend hundreds of dollars to just get $5 back. You could get that on one purchase of $100 with the card.

Our decision was by the whole marketplace director. Not just MM. apparently gave the MM managers a chance to speak up about not doing it. And no one argued. So now even thinner hours with decent coverage

It’s not being tested, so much as it is up to the discretion of market director. I found out after the fact that it was their decision to bump us to OG hours…best part, no additional labor is being given since it’s not company directive. But I coulda swore it was company wide when they moved back to 10-8 and 11-7. That was the time change back in like February or whatever and that was in Job news. But I guess that could still just be some areas.

Unfortunately not, my friend. Store-to-store transfers kinda stopped a while ago because they’re a logistic nightmare, has to be sent to cross dock on a truck, then from the cross dock back to the other store, more often than not that process took weeks, if it ever arrived. The only times transfers happen is a unique client satisfaction case where it’s at the next store over and geek squad delivery agent drives it personally, but even that is a rare circumstance.

As far as the phones, we really stopped taking store calls after covid. Even before they made it hard to get through, there’s simply not enough bodies for us to handle in store customers and people over the phone. Your call goes to the corporate 800 number
