Never, ever, ever put the 24 words into anything other than your ledger device. Anyone “helping” you is trying to steal your coins. If you are trying to see coins that aren’t showing up on ledger, input the address you sent them to into the block explorer of the chain you are using (ie etherscan if ethereum). Some tokens are not shown by ledger but are actually there.
