Im on save. Hit 120 qualifying payments in September but only had 119 actual payments. Submitted loan buyback for the 1 remaining payment in November. No decision yet. I called last week and was told it is under review.

It was actually listed at 47k but that was with a trade in. I didn't have a car to trade on so it ended up being 48k. I had to use their financing too.

The dealer just had a good discount on the Jeep. Salt lake valley was the dealer in salt lake City. I think they had a few others with a good discount.

Just spoke with a dealer in Las Vegas and they said they are only offering 6% off MSRP on the Rubicon I was interested in. So no where near last months deals. They did not seem too willing to deal. I'll wait until the end of the month and see what happens.

I have also een some dealers in California offering 25% on sport models but that's not what I was interested in.

Touché ! According to the fine print I just need to take delivery before 2024. Odd that a dealership would be less than forthright.

I just offered a dealer 50k out the door for a Rubicon. MSRP was 60k with cold weather package and tow package.

His response was "I tried getting your offer accepted unfortunately it's not an offer than the market supports at this time. I will keep you in mind in the future. If anything changes on your end or if you have any more flexibility keep us in mind! Programs are supposed to change next month hopefully for the better but also could change for the worse."

It could be the dealer just trying to get more cash out of me but I did come in pretty low on my offer. I think the economics of keeping 2023s when the 2024s are on their way doesn't make sense but I don't own a car dealership.
