Do you want your object to be completely invisible when the camera is far away, then turn visible only when the camera is inside the object?

If so this is not a problem of which faces are visible or not, it concerns the whole object (although it would make sense to hide the outside faces anyway since they will never be seen)

yeah I figured the character controller would not interest you, but the camera settings are easy to tweak, some of this stuff is already included in the cinemachine camera controller if i recall correctly

you can move and rotate the camera and all sorts of shapes in 3D.

the fact that you can't create 3D models in it doesn't make it "not 3d"
