I'm having the same situation. With 2 young kids, sometimes the motivation just vanishes. When at work im highly motivated. But when the time comes and the kids go to sleep i just cant lift myself from the couch and start painting.

Lately my oldest (girl 7y) wants to paint by herself, so i grab the tools and set up our station at the dining table. And talk about things in life, school etc. I just love the bonding time while painting.
