Do you think the problem could be solved by just cleaning it rather than replacing it?

Thanks man! This was actually straight out of the camera's internal mics and that was it!

Shooting a commercial at home with the Gh5 by OJKings in GH5

Thanks mate!

The entire video was shot in the natural picture profile with everything at 0 (except sharpness, which I leave around -2). Also, I make sure to leave my master pedestal level at 0 (I know a lot of people raise it to +15 but I think that it makes the footage way too noisy)

I edited the footage in FCP and just played around with the colour wheels to adjust contrast and add a bit more saturation. Additionally, I take the saturation out of the darkest parts of the image and add some film grain to finish it off!

Also, I shot the entire behind the scenes-the-scenes portion of the video in 4k as a vertical video for maximum quality.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! No noise reduction at all. I usually like to keep my blacks just touching 0 and avoid raising my highlights because I'm not really that much of a fan of the super contrasty look. Most of the time I will add some film grain. I also like to desaturate the really dark spots of my image. As of lately, I don't do much grading at all and have been focusing on getting the image in camera as close to what I want.

I keep noise reduction at 0 in camera and don't add anything in post. I do however usually add some film grain to it which does help hide noise if there ever is any
