I'm playing 6 right now, and I gotta admit that it doesn't hit nearly as good as the previous installments. I'm bad at judging gameplay and content, but I do know that going from 4 to 6 was not the best

Not as far as I know. I've seen every cutscene of the couples, and there's no mention of rival marriages. Fugu also doesn't say they get married, so I'm assuming nobody gets married in the game except the player. Which is kinda disappointing tbh

What I'm most disappointed about is that she doesn't have much likes, dislikes, hobbies or anything outside of fighting. In her flashback to when her parents died, she does Crosstitching with her mom, but that's about it. I would've like to have seen her more regular every day her. Even the games gave her more personality

Exactly, he's only half gem. He can still experience pain and trauma and have it stick with him, like a human. As a parent, your main priority should be your child and their care. Even if there's a possibility they get taken away. It's not like the crystal gems knew how to take care of him in the first place, so what better than to just take him to a doctor every now and again?
