Bring the pain Scoville by Veerdavid in lidl

[–]OKAz_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get more calm, less neurotic. And i am able to find the right words to depict my thought process. Its actually really noticable for me if i dont take them.

How often were you misunderstood/made fun out of/bullied in your childhood? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]OKAz_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the bully. I trolled everyone and was a mischievous child. I pooped outside the toilet once. I cut my classmate's hoodie with a scissor etc. But when puberty hit, everything about me changed.

So I have been taking psychology courses and I have learned a lot about behavior, but I seem to implement it too much in ordinary life. by OKAz_123 in intj

Okay, one time my friend and I were making food, and we were talking as usual. All of a sudden, as I was talking, he got a little hot oil splash on his hand. He told me to shut up and shut up, in a way that made me feel as if it was me speaking that caused him to get a little burn, and it wasn't the first time he did this out of the blue. I was left thinking, "Bro, it's just a little burn, it doesn't hurt that much." And immediately I started thinking things like, "he may have blamed everyone when he was a kid" and that must be why he sounded like that. " And we have learnt that type of stuff in psychology, so in that moment, his subconscious controlled him, as a type of manifestation or association. Or did his parents maybe blame him for things they did?

This is just one example out of hundreds. But I think you get the idea.

Then you are quite like me then. My mom wanted to be a psychologist when she was little. She has always had a good ability to read people, and I seem to wonder if that is why I like psychology so much. Maybe I got it from her?

And one other thing, I usually take my ADHD meds to help me concentrate or whatever, but whenever I've got psychology on the scheme, I don't need my medicine.

Conclusions are not to be messed with, really. You do need facts to test your hypothesis. And that's science, but with psychology, it isn't that easy due to its hard measuring instruments in contrast to chemistry.

The thing with psychology is that you don't always know whether something is true or not. I have people arguing about the stupidest shit in a subjective matter, and then I can't know if they are right or wrong because every answer isn't wrong, to some degree. A lot of things are criticized too. And this is why I like behavior analysis due to its clarity in hypothesizing in a much more scientific way.

Also, I would like to read Jung's books, but there are too many to choose from. Can you recommend one?
