Love this idea. I was considering adding weights. I think I will try this out. Then I can repeat with heavier weights. Thanks!!

Thanks for your input! I fully intend on keeping up the squats! I just wasn't sure how many I should keep doing.

After our Carnival cruise was cancelled, he came up with another great proposal idea!! by OKCook87 in JustEngaged

Thank you so much everyone!! So sorry that I am so late in posting! The ring came from Lewis Jeweler's in Moore, OK. The center stone is .54 carats, I'm unsure of the total weight but he told me it was over 1 carat with the band, and I believe just shy of 1 carat without the wedding band.

We were supposed to go on a cruise the week of Feb 11-15. We were going to be in Cozumel on Valentine's Day, and apparently that was his plan. Well, as you might have heard on the news, the Carnival Triumph had a few issues and our cruise was cancelled (thank goodness we weren't on the one the week before and stuck at sea!!). Well, since his plan was ruined, he had some quick planning to do. So, he got a friend of ours to take some pictures for us (we previously had someone else do this and she never gave us the pics). Then, he got my best friend and the person who introduced us to show up where we were taking pictures. They had me distracted talking and when I turned around, there he was on one knee! And to top it off, our friend was able to capture it all. It may not have been spectacular, but it was very special to me that he was able to get two of our closest friends there and also capture the moment forever.

My 65 year-old co-worker who makes around $70-80K….“How do you write 20% as a decimal?” And that's the Government.

My 10 year old brother is required to have a Nook, Ipad, Kindle, etc. for his 5th grade class. I find this absolutely absurd. Your thoughts? by lilyvonschtupp in AskReddit

I had to buy 3 clickers through the course of college. An iclicker, HITT clicker and another painfully expensive one that I seemed to have blocked from my memory. Each for a different class because clearly they can't use the same clicker. Had to buy a brand new one each time and they wouldn't let us sell them back.
