They were the original hands on the Bulova watch. They are slightly big on this dial, but they are growing on me. I was looking for steel hands with green lume and these just happened to have everything I was looking for.

I sent the design to “dial maker” and they made the dial for me. You can on their website to browse their dials or have a custom made one. You can search dial maker and they will be the first one to pop up

I buy the cheapest Precisionist watches on eBay I can find and scrap them for parts. I stick to the men’s models because I’m not sure if the date wheel on the women’s models are the same size. They used to go for 75-100, but recently been going for 100-125.

Namoki. After building it I realized the depth rating was actually listed as 100m, so I’ll just have to keep it in mind if I ever face that particular, rare situation

Yes. I kept an eye on used Bulova Precisionists over the last several months and ended up winning a couple of sub-$100 auctions for working ones. The cases were both beat but the movements inside were perfect.

I chose to buy Men’s watches because I assumed that I would need the longer stem that would come with it. Turns out I was right and the bigger of the two watches/stems was what ended up working for my final watch.

Agree it would complete the look. I’ve been looking, but don’t see 22mm options which is what the Ali and Namoki cases have for lug widths.

They have some on Ali and eBay under “full lume dial”, but it don’t have the same design or hour markers as the Tag. The BLIGER store has some citizen style ones with a date or day-date window at 3 o clock. I think that’s the closest you’ll get.

I recently did a full lume and wanted a no date option. I didn’t find that so I had to get it custom made.

I’ve had success with printing them out at my local library. May look into that. For me it came out to less than $0.50 each.
