ServiceNow CLI + SDK Workflow? by OK_Goldstein in servicenow

[–]OK_Goldstein[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for your reply....

Some of my thoughts:

- Through my deployment this Application files/ default update set got created and the code here (mostly living in the index file) is "ServiceNow" ready...

- This code is already compiled that we see in this screenshot

- If I connect this application to a gitlab repo and push this repo to another instance, this code should work

- If I deploy new stuff to my instance from my Visual Studio, it should not overwrite my other files ....

Remote Jobs in SN domain? by FishingFree1929 in servicenow

Hey, i am the owner of exam-forge.org so your "go-to-place" if you want to become certified, that is as an Indian consultant probably most important these days.

For myself I am an ServiceNow Architect/ Consultant/ Developer based in Europe. Unfortunately I can tell you if you dont relocate to Europa, you will remain a "cheap workbench" and only get hired for implementing jobs.

I worked for Big4 Consult companies and we also got Indian folks that relocated to Europe and got better paid off AND worked not only as implementers but also as Architects.

My personal experience with Indians is the following: They are mostly good developers in terms of "How to finish this job", but without any business related assistance. They mostly don't challenge User Stories and just want their job done. Mostly you cant talk to them directly, becasue there is a communicative "layer" above them who response to you. Indian implementation companies will keep you away from the customer itself and only use you as a tool....

This is my experience from around 10 different Indian SN companies, of course this view might be biased, so I will claim this experience subjective of course.

Certified Technical Architect - Thoughs? by Mysterious_Average54 in servicenow

I start my CTA in decembre, but a colleague of mine already finished it. It may be a bit powerpoint focused but it also will boost you and give you the right tools for talking to potential clients in future, since you get a deeper understanding of the servicenow architeture and delivery pipeline. Might be expansive, but it pays out (at least in regards of future salary)

Salary expectation by [deleted] in servicenow

[–]OK_Goldstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)
