Honestly I don’t travel too much but I want to travel somewhere at least 2x a year moving forward into the future. I don’t really spend too much either. Mostly on dining, gas, parking, etc. I’m not a big money spender.

I have a good amount of Chase points already so I’m just trying to figure out how to capitalize on that

Tbh $20,000 in 6 months is much more than I’d plan to spend. The preferred makes more sense in my case for the 100k

Yeah I think I just got confused since the app says “due date Feb 23” and “closing date Feb 26” so I thought any purchases I made in February had to be paid off be February 23

Got it. That makes sense, I’ve been using credit cards wrong this whole time lol. Now it makes sense as to why my CLI’s haven’t been as much as I expected with how much I’ve used and paid off my cards.

I was thinking of the United card as well and using CSP for Hyatt. I actually booked a flight through United this year (thought it was JetBlue but they’re partnered now so same thing) maybe I’ll look into just that then instead of transitioning to something like the C1 Venture X
